I know I'm mildy retarded, but that was the first place I looked, with no success.

That's worm's eye view - I'm looking for one where the camera was up high, pointed down, and everyone was grouped really close together.

Banks...this?

That first one was the exact one I was looking for, Ms. Chika, but I like the angle of that one too. Thanks!

I thought this one, at first, because I thought it was more interesting, composition-wise:

the-cardigans.jpg

But the "grouped closely together" made me think the other pic.

No worries, WSB. Googled Cardigans and "CD Sleeve" - found it on someone's blog on the second page of results, i think.

Yeah, I was straight up GISing "The Cardigans," "Cardigans," and "Nina Persson." I couldn't remember specifically if it was from one of their CDs or not, but yep, that's where I saw it.

Don't worry, you're not retarded. I tried GISing "Cardigans bird's eye view" and got a bunch pictures of sweaters.

Yeah, I actually want to tackle drawing something like that this week. I haven't done perspective drawing in years...gonna have to break out the t-square. I'm just happy I remembered correctly that it WAS the Cardigans. I can't remember if I had the CD or if it was in Spin or Blender years ago, but the visual stuck with me.

I'm a little surprised there wasn't a special edition Guitar Hero Metallica...even if it was just with the Breakneck with a Metallica-themed faceplate.

Finally bit on the Steam Ubisoft Classic pack. Even though the only game I really wanted from it was Far Cry , 4 games for $10 is still a damn fine deal.

I'm nervous cause I'm getting interviewed for promotion on Thursday.....but I actually have to do a lot of studying for that......which I have been ignoring mostly today..
Awww...I knew it was too good to be true. All these board games for free? Nope. :|
But hey, you can buy each stinking one for $10!!! I would have been so on board had it not been a serious rip off.

There was a huge boom in my area while I was at the movie store. I got home and checked the news and all it said was that there was a "Flash and boom" that was heard from Williamsburg, VA to Elizabeth City, NC, which is about 90 miles, maybe more. Sounds like fun.

My wife's been wanting scrabble and Yahtzee for forever now....i couldn't deny her...
Thanks for the help, Wolve11.
No problem my young Padawan

Sounds like something from War of the Worlds.

Something's wrong with my PSP's UMD door, I think. It feels really loose and occasionally I guess it pops open slightly because a message will pop up like if you hit the home button asking if I want to quit the game.

Really inconvenient, since it disrupts the flow in Patapon.

Had they made the individual games 100 points each, I probably would have gotten all of them. Battleship, Scrabble, and Connect 4 over Live? That'd be sweet.

Huh. I just found out that you can play RE4 Wii with the GC controller. I may try that sometime, since I have only ever played the Wii version of the game.

Honestly though, I think it might be a let-down. RE4 is one of the only games that the Wii-style controllers felt...well...good and natural. Even with URMRGAY, I kept wishing I was holding a regular controller.

Oh well. I'm off to bed. G'night all...

Ah, just searched and found it. Thanks for the info. I might have to try and return Metallica and keep the guitar for $10. We'll see.
How much would it cost to buy the boxed real versions of those board games regularly?
I would guess between $10 to $20 each - for a physical product.

I picked up scrabble, but I still feel ripped off.

It's definitely worth a shot.

Time to pull a Budge and go to bread early so I can be up by 6 :bouncy:

Can you play offline multiplayer on those XBLA board games? Monopoly as a full retail game is a rip. Those XBLA ones for $10, not so much if you consider that they don't even make 400 point games anymore.

Well I finished assembling my double-bookcase; Damn it if it isn't to heavy for me to move it by myself now that it's assembled & my wife is asleep. #-o

According to the description on xbox.com, they should have 1-4 local multiplayer, depending on the game. I think the ideal strategy for the game would be to sell it as a bundle game for 1200 points.

On it. I got 6 icy Sam Adams lights R2G.

I gotta get my game, movie, and peripheral storage under control- this is phase one.
I wonder if Umbrella Chronicles is worth the time.
No.
I really, really liked Watchmen.
Yes.

That would've been so sick if they had lingered on the gore in the end like in the book. It added a lot of weight to what happened when I first read it.
