With other free sponsored packs I didn't hear bullshit on them. i.e. Best Buy doesn't like the devil customer and CAG since it says "ass". 7up is better than sprite, Simpsons is better than the Family Guy... Using your same argument would make Mt. Dew a propaganda machine to make gamers fat by giving us a free theme. If you are against the US war policies do something about it instead of bitching on some gaming website calling a free theme on Xbox Live propaganda :wall: . I have no problems if you don't like the US Armed Forces (as I'm not a big fan) but stop with the crazy bullshit propaganda conspiracy theory.

I see your point, and maybe I should've kept my mouth shut. However, the #1 goal of the US Army video games (which I assume the gamer pics are tied into) is to act as propaganda for the military itself! It's to drum up interest and increase recruitment. Part of me would just feel a little dirty for being a part of that. Is that wrong? Maybe, but that's how I feel. And yup, I posted about it on a gaming message board. Silly me.

The marketplace was working this morning. I downloaded the free gold Halo 3 stuff. You gotta go through an ad link to get to it though. And I have a Silver on 3 days of gold account right now, so that works.

Yeah for the new demos....curious about Jericho. NHL 2K8 was just not good (IMO)....NHL 08 is preferred this year. 2K8 control system is going more towards a fighting game....too involved now.

As for XBLA...nothing new, just a few 25% off sales on games stated.
 
I liked Jericho. As a new 360 owner I'm kind of overwhelmed by all the FPS games and am sorta sick of the variations, but I enjoyed it. Especially thought the "active time battle" thing was cool. The only FPS that screams purchase to me (besides Halo of course) is COD4, though I do want to try out Gears when it gets cheaper.
 
Jericho wasn't bad. I don't see myself buying it on day 1, but I'll definitely pick it up when it drops a couple bucks (or I find a used copy).

Hated the Jericho demo. Felt like a step back for FPS. No cover system, instead of being able to change weapons you have to change to the team member that has the weapon you want to use, QTE part was just kind of annoying, the shooting didn't feel like it was impacting the enemies very much, and using the katana just felt clumsy instead of cool.

Good graphics though.

QTE was really the only thing I liked about it. I liked how I blocked with X and B and it was the left and right hand.. that part was cool.. someone should make an entire game based like that
