I really want to play Minerva's Den but unfortunately I don't have my copy of Bioshock 2 so I guess nothing for me this week.

What I do is, if I see DLC I want to play and it's on sale, I'll buy it now and wait till the game is cheap and buy it :D.
And then after that, I usually forget about it and probably would've been better off not spending those points :D

On the deals front this week, there's another chance to complement your copy of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 with all of the add-on DLC at half the price befor Battlefield 3 comes out, with Bad Company 2 Vietnam a steal at just 600 Microsoft Points and Onslaught Mode a bargain for 200. Have a look:

Bad Company 2 Onslaught Mode - Was: 400 MSP Now: 200 MSP
Bad Company 2 Vietnam - Was: 1200 MSP Now: 600 MSP
Bad Company 2 VIP - Was: 800 MSP Now: 400 MSP
Bad Company 2 Kit Short-Cut Bundle Pack - Was: 1200 MSP Now: 600 MSP
Bad Company 2 SPECACT Upgrade Bundle - Was: 480 MSP Now: 240 MSP
Bad Company 2 Vietnam Theme - Was: 240 MSP Now: 120 MSP
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Theme - Was: 240 MSP Now: 120 MSP

Why not put the base game on half price as well? You can sell a lot more DLC to people that own the game.

More BC2 DLC?!??! Seriously I'm tired of the same recycled deals every week. Get your **** together Microsoft. Every week: Borderlands, BioShock, Rock Band, BC2, etc, repeat!

I haven't bought anything from these "DotW" since May...crazy...

Amen.

Just a heads up but Re4 is actually $20 Canadian (1360 MSP instead of 1600). Here's hoping that MS is going to get the value of MSP in line with our dollar. I'd love to buy games directly from them (they even added paypal support) but the conversion rate leaves me always waiting for a points card sale or downloading it off the PSN.

I'd recommend the 90MS point X-men First Class movie rental. It works out to about a $1.25 if you bought the MS point at retail prices. I really enjoyed this movie and it was perhaps the best summer movie this year.

That's the case with all Games On Demand titles. Re4 isn't an XBLA release, so it get the regular $$ pricing.

GoD titles are the one time when the price discrepancy for points play out in our favor. I've been buying a ton of games now this way, replacing some I wanted to keep but had to trade-in to regain valuable shelf space. I actually like not having to toss a disc in the drive. If you're patient, titles keep dropping in price.

The majority (I'm pretty sure Bayonetta is $19.99) of games I've seen are more expensive on the Canadian GOD service then it's American counterpart. Take at look at Mass Effect 1 for example, 19.99 USD or 29.99 CAD. This (Re4) is the first I've seen of launch parity.

I would probably say at least 80%, if not more, are on par. Mass Effect, Just Cause, and a handful seem to be the exception. Good point though, it's best to double check.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to pick up Outland.

Keep in mind there's also some sort of super one-day-only deal coming this Friday.

Finally the games are back, seems like it's been quite a while since there were some quality titles for sale.

Picking up Outland for sure, maybe more. Thanks for the update.
