I still say the best argument is that it's a moot point. Did you ever see Master Chief without his armor? No, because it's really just Samus. She must have needed some extra cash. :)
 
I think Samus and Master Chief would get together, rid the world of the Covenant and Metroids and then have uber-powered babies.

Master Chief would then get bored because Samus let herself go after the kids and sleep with Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Samus then exact revenge by cutting the crotch out of his Mjolnir armor.

Master Cheif needs backup and uses semi-futuristic weaponry and wimpy battery-powered body armor.

Samus fights alone and has full-on armor suit and an arm cannons.

The winner is Samus.

This is just something we were discussing at work and I figured you guys would settle this for us. Very noob of me not to check first.
 
Since when did M. Chief need backup? On Legendary my marines all died like 15 seconds into the battle.

True that. I often just wipe out my squad so I won't have to wait for them to catch up and so they won't get in my way later on in the level.
 
I'd try to leave the sniper guys alive. That way if I ran out of ammo I'd just kill them and take their gun.
