This was at the EBGames outside the McKinley Mall Hamburg, NY. They were new and it looked like they only had XBox, probably about 5 or 6. I searched this forum and saw these weren't that well reviewed but I figured I'd give it a whirl for $5.

Just FYI, I thought these pads sucked.

Bad construction overall. Not worth it unless you're an SF Collector.

Yea, they're alright. It's like if a Saturn controller gained some wieght and changed out the good d-pad, but for what it is, it's not too bad.

Saturn pad > SF pad

You guys are sadly mistaken if you think the Xbox SF controllers are anything like the fantastic PS2 renditions; the dpad is absolutely shiite.

They are that different huh? I have some of the PS2 pads and theyre not that bad. So I figured $5 for the xbox ones was completely worth it. I picked up a Akuma pad, but I havent even opened it yet.

for as chunky and cheap as these are, they're not bad for 5 bucks. the PS2 version's d-pad is much better than that horrid Sony-brand one.

I picked up 4. I know, I know, but I did it just to spite the smacktalker behind the counter. He said he knew the pads were $5 each but that he was waiting for them to drop even lower. Then he said something about having copies of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 for both PS2 and Xbox that he is holding in the back for himself too. So I bought all 4. I figure I can trade 2 of them off later for something else maybe.

The Controllers are cool looking and nicely packaged, however the D-pad (XBX) makes you feel like your playing Street Fighter I when you try to pull off specials.

i purchased the akuma version thinking it was gonna be such an awesome controller, but it turned out to be one of the worst d-pads i ever used.
Ended up returning the damn thing the same day

I found the Guile one at the mall here in Christiansburg, VA. I think they had one more. It isn't great. I tried playing Guilty Gear X2 Reload with it but didn't make much headway. At any rate, it might be better with something like Mega Man:Anniversary or Sonic Mega Collection+.
Great for building homemade arcade sticks for xbox. All of the PCB solder points are lined up for arcade play. Best way to go for PCBs.
That's a dang good idea actually. I have seen a few more so I might pick one up to take apart. Any links for good step by step instructions or will I have to wing it?

Woo, I could use another one of these pads to add XBox functionality to my homemade PS2 stick (never got around to it before). Nice suggestion.

Weird I have 2 of the PS2 pads and I like them...sucks that the XBOX D-Pad isn't as good. They were also suppose to come out with some wireless ones but i don't think they ever got released.
