Is there any good deals on picking this up? I've been lookin' around to see if I could find it shipped for $20 (new) without anyluck. And then, I got outbid by $1 on ebay.. (sold total $15 omfg)

Anyways, if any CAG knows of a dirt cheap bargain price for this somewhere post a link :D Thanks!!!
 
You may not want my opinion, but I'd say still avoid this even cheap. Its not a good shooter. It really isn't. Also remember, its pretty much Live-only.
 
Being an avid shooter fan myself I have to agree with georex, there are much better ways to waste your time playing video games than with shadowrun.
 
Thanks for all the above posts. :) My main reasom for lookin' is because of afew friends (more like 2) want me to grab it though, if I pick it up used I want it $15 shipped :bouncy:
 
I think it's actually a pretty good online team shooter. The dynamics for the online stuff are great. There is no offline mode (except a short training period). It's biggest downside is the lack of downloadable content due to the studio disbanding. There are few maps and that makes it get a little old. I think it's alot of fun though.
 
I found this game to be alot of fun. Its basically like Team Fortress 2 (except better IMO). If you like playing shooters with friends, you should definitely get this game for $20. Good achievements too.

I find this game horrible compared to TF2, TF2 is a solid shooter, this isn't. >_>
 
It's not absolutely horrible... I mean, it's above average. But compared to Halo 3 or Team Fortress 2 or Call of Duty 4...

Such a shame, because I love the IP. But I wanted a single-player RPG, not a multiplayer shooter anyway, and I hope I still get one. Oh FASA, please please me like I please you.

But for $20 new, I dunno. I might spring for it. I played the demo and had some fun with it. It just felt a little cluttered swapping all the powers in and out of only 3 slots, and the actual gameplay, seemingly centered around the "artifacts," was, to me, somewhat annoying.

I mean, it's better than a lot of stuff. There are so many shooters for Xbox 360, and so many are mediocre or downright below par. I'd say this one's at least at the top of that heap.

Just my random, useless opinion...

So if I had friends, like the OP does, who wanted me to buy it and play it with them, I'd probably go for it.

Hee hee, okay. :) I make a good punching bag. I'm not the best FPS player in the world by a long shot.
 
*Lurks around eBay* I see a $16 shipped buy-it-now, I might pick that up later.. since, I'm having issues with paypal :bomb:, Gotta use my dads.

Though, I'd still like to get it $20 new shipped, the feeling of breakin' in a new game first :cool:

You're right. However, some of the FASA people created a new development company and bought the rights to all the old FASA properties. :) I hope they do the licenses right this time! RPGs, please.
