The text feed seems to be working fine now, just turn off the audio feed completely. It is FAR behind the current point in the film.

EDIT: Yes LP, that's pretty much exactly it. But then the moderator also controls playback controls, such as pausing, etc. Also, audio feed is now caught back up!

EDIT: Final got it to work. Had to log out, go to the XMB and then log back in.

Blockbuster version lacks any special features at all - it has the movie and setup options, that's it. Boy, that deal sure works out great for the consumer!
