Yesterday, I went to my local Walmart and bought Shining Force EXA for only $19.82. At first, I think this game has to be $49.99(EB/GS,Amazon... still sell it at full price) because it just came out on March 20,2007.
Although it is not a good game but if you want to collect Shining series on PS2, this is great price to get. Too bad, I got the last copy at my local Walmart. Check out your local Walmart for luck///

The receipt said: WAS $49.88 YOU SAVED $30.06.

Yea, that's definitely YMMV.

Shining Force EXA is a pretty decent game, don't let the biased reviews throw you off.

If you like hack and slash games, you'll like EXA, just mute the voices.

So yea, before everyone freaks out, Wal-Mart is ALWAYS YMMV so good luck finding one that has it this price.

Did they mistake it for Neo? Must have. Huge mistake. Very lucky find. This probaby won't drop for some time.

Im waiting for Rogue Galaxy to drop right now.

I almost bit on this one for $49.99 when it first came out, damn have to check a local wal-fart in my area even though I know this is an extreme YMMV.. Anyone play this one and can say if its any better or worse than SF NEO ???

Thanks

I honestly miss the old school Shining Force games where you had a large party and it was a turn based RPG. The old ones had better character customization and were just more fun.
I would snatch it at a heart beat if it was $20 in my area.
Same here! Nice find, OP, but too bad Wal-Mart deals about as YMMV as they come. >_
You can mute the voices? I wish you could do that in Neo.
You can. Well, all but the in-battle voices anyway (you gotta live with "Hot stuff, comin' your way!" ;) ).

i dunno if i can handle EXA if hot stuff comes my way again...

seriously though, i would totally get this at this price

They remade the first Shining Force for GBA. There's been nothing else since Shining Force 3?
Has anybody else tried their local WM to see if YMMV on this one?
Wal-Mart is always YMMV. Nobody wants to waste their time checking.

I'm happy for people who can get good deals from Wal-Mart. I have one 5 minutes from my home and have NEVER seen a deal there. If I'm in Wal-Mart anyway and already walking past the video game department then I MIGHT stop in to check. They have a large aisle setup of $19.82 crap games that includes things like Fantavision. The last time I looked there was sign in front of a Greatest Hits game that said something like "REG. $49.99, SALE $19.82, SAVE $30.17!!!".
