Hey guys I just started playing this game tonight, and the main reason I bought it was because I read that it was "1-2 players" (assuming it was going to be cooperative play). The game is pretty cool, and would be great to have a friend of mine play as the second character. For anyone that has played this game, I was just wondering how far into the game I would need to be in order to play 2 players? Thanks a bunch in advance.

Ohhh... Shining Tears. I was starting to think I was the only person that *really* liked the game.
It's been a while since I've played, but I remember it being between Mission 7 and Mission 8 that Two-Player Mode becomes available. And it is co-op. It shouldn't take too long to get there. Most of the early missions are quite easy regardless of who you take into battle with you.

Thanks a lot Amano, I appreciate it. Yeah I was thinking the same thing because it didn't get good reviews from a lot of gaming critics. But, I think it's pretty cool, mainly cause it's co-op. I just think that the industry hasn't been producing that many quality co-op games (or any kind of co-op games for that matter) in recent memory. Would like to see it happen though.
