[ShinyLoot] 101 Days of Summer Daily Deals

shinyloot

Official Representative
Today our 101 Days of Summer Daily Deals has begun. For those interested in the mechanics of the sale:

  • Every day at midnight (CST) we will launch a new round of deals, up to 6 on Mon - Thu and up to 12 on Fri - Sun.
  • Prices will all be at, around, or below previous lows
  • This sale will run until September 7
  • Participating games will sometimes be repeated and sometimes not
I'll try to post updates here on which games are on sale, but I know I won't make it every day. With 24 hours to act it might be too late by the time you see it anyway, so I would suggest keeping an eye on the deal page.

Day 25.  Fatigue setting in, but at least i'm not stuck in the Fireflower thread.

Bridge Crosser - $0.70

Infinity Danger - $0.80

Septerra Core - $1.25

Doom & Destiny - $1.50 (desura)

Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods

Stellar Impact - $2.50 (steam)

Was going to bite on Infinity Danger, headed over to ITAD to see where else it's sold and discovered that it was included in the indiegamestand BTA for Little Racers STREET.   +1 to impulse control!

Even though it's ewww cooties DRM free I'm kind of tempted by Bridge Crosser at 70 cents because WTF?

Spectraball - $1.25 (steam / desura)

Day 28.  Trying to write a survival guide, tentatively titled 101 Creative Uses for Coconuts.  I'm currently stuck at: 1) The coconut is an excellent object to throw into the ocean during fits of depression.

Dangerous Insects - $1.00 (desura)

Not So Fast - $1.00

Arson & Plunder - $1.25

Book of Unwritten Tales Critter Chronicles - $5.00

Critter Chronicles Digital Deluxe - $6.25

Oh that Mark Leung. He don't need no stinkin Steam Greenlight and if you want Desura keys for buying it from Shiny Loot well too bad, too sad. PS - He also never puts it on sale on Desura. Have a nice day.

Day 30.  Made peace with the coconuts.  With our forces combined, we shall rule this island with an iron fist!  At least until I get hungry and eat them.

Zombies Ruined My Day - $0.75 (desura)

Chronicles of a Dark Lord Ep. 1 - $1.00

Gorky 17 - $1.25

The Perfidious Petrol Station - $1.25 (desura)

Gun Metal - $1.50

Space Salvager - $1.60

Black Mirror 3 - $1.74

Cargo: The Quest for Gravity - $1.75 (steam)

Black Mirror 2 - $1.75

Enclave Gold - $2.00

Abyss: The Wraiths of Eden - $2.10

The Book of Legends - $3.00 (steam)

You know, I really look forward to these Indef's Shiny Loot adventures daily updates.

Anyhow, I refuse to call Nancy the Happy Whore by it's whitewashed name (Perfidious Petrol). She's a Whore and she's happy. Whores have a right to be happy too.

Oh and Jason the Viva Media rep on Steam is still giving out Steam keys for Black Mirror II and III owners no matter where you got it from so you should be able to get a Steam key for them if you buy them on this sale.

I got the Book of Legends on Steam when it was on sale...cards seemed to sell well enough to get about a dollar back....sure they're not as good as a price as they were before but the prices are good for selling them(checked and the cheapest has a price of 20 cents...not bad)...if you really want to add an RPGMaker game to your collection.

Oh it's that Book of Legends. I was thinking it was the other one. Hmm, I don't know that I want to pay $3 for some Aldorlea RPGMaker game that will surely be bundled, but that's good to know.

Day 31.  As that other sale winds down, this sale remains strong!  Uh, with Laxius Force games...

Laxius Force - $2.50

Laxius Force II - $5.00

Laxius Force III - $7.50

Bernie Needs Love - $1.00 (desura)

On the Shoulders of Ancestors - $1.25 (desura)

Pitiri 1977 - $1.50

Morbid Land - $1.80 (desura)

Mosby's Confederacy - $2.50 (steam)

Anodyne - $3.40 (steam)

Spectromancer Complete - $9.98

RPG Maker VX - $15.00

Bernie Needs Love needs to get into some Greenlight bundle. I played and beat the flash version and though it was a silly but fun platformer. Also call me old school but Laxius Force....I always want to play them though I already have 1 DRM Free from Groupees and the others DRM free from GreenManGaming. They look raw an unpolished but could be fun.

The developer keeps posting on Reddit asking for Greenlight votes every time it goes on sale on Shiny Loot or his site, which frankly has been fairly frequent. I agree though a bundle would probably be a better choice at this point, especially since he's willing to price it so low and clearly needs exposure for Greenlight votes.

Day 32.  Discovered some banana trees today!  Pretty sure the coconuts already are skeptical, perhaps jealous, of the newcomers.  Diplomacy is hard.

Undead Legions - $0.60 (desura)

Okyntt - $1.00 (steam)

Greed: Black Border - $1.25 (steam / desura)

One Finger Death Punch - $2.00 (steam / desura)

Bridge Construction Set - $3.99

Day 33.  I don't know what you guys are talking about.  Coconuts & Bananas & Me, living in perfect harmony!  In fact, we were all up so late drinking and partying last night that I totally spaced today's update.

Zombie Football Carnage - $0.80

Unearthed: Trail of Ibn Battuta Ep. 1 - $1.25 (steam)

KnightShift - $1.25

Will Fight for Fodd - $1.25 (desura)

Dungeonland - $2.00 (steam - not quite sure what this includes, since the game is free to play)

Moonchild - $3.00

It's all fun and games until you pass out and the banana and coconut take turns having their way with you.

Day 34.  Don't tell anyone, but I really wish I had a blender right now.

Wisps: The Redeeming - $1.00 (desura)

Jack Haunt: Old Haunting Grounds - $1.00

DeadEnd: Cerebral Vortex - $1.74

The Book of Legends - $3.00 (steam)

Bridge It - $3.99 (desura)

Mystery Masters: Dark Journey Bundle - $9.99

About a dozen "Like" notifications incoming indef.  The Steam sale was so boring I became apathetic about everything it seems.

Day 35.  Having some minor difficulty understanding how someone could become bored and apathetic over a TEN day sale...   :oldman:

Millennium - A New Hope - $1.20

Kilgazar - $1.00 (desura)

Morbid Land - $1.80 (desura)

Subject 9 - $2.00 (steam)

Al Emmo Enhanced - $2.50

NyxQuest - $2.50

Ha! Well when you put it like that I do feel a bit foolish. Carry on. For 66 more days.

Day 36.  No fireworks here, so i'm celebrating Independence Day by throwing burning coconuts at stuff.  When life gives you lemons, light them on fire and giggle at the results.  That probably wouldn't work if I actually had lemons, but hey, when life doesn't give you lemons, pretend other things are lemons and light that shit on fire!

Victim of Xen - $0.90 (steam)

Major Mayhem - $1.00

Unhack - $1.25 (desura)

Reversion: The Meeting - $1.50 (desura)

Trauma - $1.75

Ring Runner - $2.50 (steam)

Tower of Guns - $4.95 (steam)

Naval War: Arctic Circle - $5.00 (steam)

Arcane Worlds - $6.00 (steam / desura)

Mystery Masters: Mystery Adventure Bundle - $9.99

Day 37.  Got a bit too festive last night and turned the entire place into a charred and smoldering ruin.  The local fire department is worthless.  On the bright side, toasted coconuts are delicious.  Burnt bananas, not so much.

Twin Sector - $1.25 (desura)

Rhythm Destruction - $1.25 (steam / desura)

Snake Blocks - $1.25

Knytt Underground - $1.75 (steam)

Ubinota - $2.00

Pahelika: Secret Legends - $2.25

Grimind - $2.50

Unstoppable Gorg - $2.50

Host Holic - $3.00

Eleusis - $3.75 (steam / desura)

Deo - $5.20 (desura)

Is it sad i'm waiting for Millennium 4/5 to go on sale hopefully sometime in this Shinyloot sale? Those are really overpriced in the current Greenmangaming sale and I hope all Aldorlea games come to Steam someday even though some really lack it somehow.

No sadder than the fact that I think I look forward more to indef's updates than the actual sale listing.

It's mostly sad that you actually like Aldorlea games this much.

It's sadder that it bugs me that the 5th one hasn't gone cheap yet and he's been slow to get them up on Steam so I don't have the full set on Steam even though I've no intention to play then.

Captain's Log: Stardate 38.

After months of planting dissension and false rumors following the kidnapping of Tony and placing our puppet Josh in his place, the Amazons have finally fallen!  The Greenmen have already splintered into two bickering factions and even the mighty Plussians, while not a direct threat, are in self-enforced exile.  Humblers continue to be silent while the remaining Bundle Tribes do little more than poke their heads out of the morass once or twice a week, like the inconsequential groundhogs they are.  Notably, the Cults of Neuro5i5 have been on an uptick recently and must be watched closely, although nobody really takes those BlueCoiners seriously.

Efforts to topple the Steamites have yet to show any significant positive effect, even with our mole constantly pushing the dastardly agenda of repeated Left4Dead sales.  I suspect that populace has suffered from years of intense and severe brainwashing, similar to that endured by the impoverished and repressed Goggers, and may be beyond reformation.  They appear to be greatly impressed by silly trinkets and baubles.  A possible avenue of approach to exploit this may be through their bizarre self-contained economy, and our attempt at artificially inflating value of the "keys" has already caused a minor panic among fringe elements.

Now is our time, fellow Looterians!  We're only a third of the way through our Grand Strategy and look what we have accomplished!

GearGrinder - $1.25

Little Kingdom - $1.25

Residue - $1.62 (desura)

Incoming + Incoming Forces - $1.80

Drip Drip - $2.00 (desura)

Wyv & Keep: Temple of the Lost Idol - $2.00

Mark Leung Revenge of the Bitch - $2.25

Creeper World - $2.50

Mosby's Confederacy - $2.50 (steam)

Dreamscape - $3.00

GooseGogs - $3.00

RPG Maker VX Ace - $17.50

Go Looterians. KHAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNN and all that.

Mark Leung is such a cock tease tempting me but then no Steam, no Greenlight, no Desura (from Shiny Loot anyhow).

Day 39.  Instead of rebuilding after The Great Fire of Day 37, I have decided to pack up my things and move to the other side of the island.  Wish I had more things.  Maybe the other side will have a Wal-Mart.  Or at least, some scantily clad natives.

Earth 2140 XP - $1.00

Not So Fast - $1.00

Castle Dracula - $1.25

Obludia - $1.75 (desura)

Laxius Force - $2.50

Europa Universalis III Complete - $3.75

Heavy Fire: Afghanistan - $4.95
