Shop-Ko May 1 Special: Value games for $10

Wow like no one mentioned this. For those who missed last weeks buy one at $20 get one for a buck, the sale is back, sorta. Now those same games can be bought for the same price as last week. When you think about, the sale is kinda the same. Those games are now $10 with what I believe is no limit. Not really a special since some of those games suck, but a special is a special, right???

True, most of the games are pretty poor, but a few are fairly decent (like DOA3). For $10 I guess you can't complain, there are far worse deals out there.

The nearest Shopko to me is in Salem, OR. You'd think that with Portland being the biggest city in the state that there would be one here. Drat. If I only had a car...

I grabbed Vexx (GC), Dino Crisis and Space Channel 5 Special Edition (PS2) but I hated Space Channel, so I took it back, they didn't have any more copies and I grabbed Sly Cooper (equal value game) instead. Woo! Also, my Shopko has e-reader games for 5 cents.

I have 3 of them all within 10 minutes of me. But most of those games just don't appeal to me.

I'll probably stop in there today if my damn check comes. There's 2 of them within 1 mile of my house. I'll try to compile a list of the games I see.

On a side note, last time I was in Shop Ko (about 2 weeks ago) I found a copy of Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance kinda hidden away. The box was somewhat crushed, but still in good shape. Think it was $29.99. I didn't buy it as I was broke at the time, but I could probably pick it up today if it's still there if anyone would be interested tading a Fatal Frame 2 they got at BB for $9.99 or something else for it. Let me know, I'll be leaving in about 3 hours or less depending on when the mail comes.

I checked the games at the Walla Walla, WA Shopko and they were pretty picked over. The ones that were left were poor values at 2 for $21 and I'm not sure they are any better at 1 for $10.

Checked again yesterday and it appears that they have dropped clearance prices more. DDR MAX 2 is now $6.99. They were still labeled $9.99 but they rang up $6.99. YMMV
