CAGiversary!
I'm just wondering from anyone who either owns a Sony Tab or equal tablet what would be wise to do. I'm able to buy one brand new at 280 now, but can wait as it isn't a need. Does anyone think they're will be better 300> tablets out in the next month or current ones discounted to such prices? Thanks in advance.

If you have held one in person, I definitely think you should before you plunge into buying it. I just couldnt get used to the feel of the device (very thick on one side). 1saleaday.com and woot.com have been putting a lot of tablets up on their sites lately that have great specs and great prices. You should check some of those out also.

But $280 is a great price for it, my favorite feature is the built in infrared so you can use it as a media remote :D

Just look around and if you dont see anything else, I say go for it.

Thanks for the reply. I heard the build quality is kind of cheap so that's kind of throwing me off a bit, plus I know a slew of tabs were shown off at ces. I'm prob just gonna pass it up since I can't really interact with one aside from buying then returning it.

Well, I would wait. I'm going for the Asus Eeepad MeMO. 7", Tegra 3, ICS, Stylus, and front/back cameras for $249 new. Can't beat it, and I think that it's pretty damn incredible. Should be out in Q2 2012 if time isn't a factor. Unless iPad 3 is announced and is amazingly better than 2 for the rumored $399 PP, I'm going MeMO.

Yeah the Asus Eeepad MeMo looks insanely good. If you don't need that much power Viewsonic is coming out with the E70, a 7" ICS tablet, in March for $169 which also sounds great. I' think you should wait a bit, things are only gonna get better and cheaper as you wait.
