Should I buy an extra copy of Crackdown for the Halo 3 Beta?

Hoping I could pick up one extra and maybe make back some cash to cover the first copy. Believe it or not, I really do want to play Crackdown. Beta just sweetens the deal. Think they'll be worth anything? Or by the time I try and get rid of it, the Beta entry will be closed?

Well, all launch copies of the title will give access to the beta, so the only risk you run is that they aren't hard to come by. Since the beta isn't starting until at least March, you won't have any trouble with missing signups.

I'm going to try to ditch mine, because I want Crackdown but couldn't care less about Halo 3. A friend of mine will probably do the same thing, if he manages to get Crackdown at launch.

If MS makes it so you don't require the Crackdown disc to play the beta, that would be a Godsend.

I was thinking the same thing. I know ALOT of people want in on Halo 3 more than me.

Oh well, then I know of at least 2 H3 betas that will forever go unused.
