should I buy this comp "HP Pavilion P6310" 499$?

So Ive been wanting to get a new computer and with my tax refund I can finally afford to get one.

Now to me it seems like a good deal, of course I'd have to replace the psu and add a better graphics card.

But I haven't been keeping up with all the new computer technology lately and would like some input from the more computer savvy cags here.

keep in mind it is very difficult to replace the PSU on an HP

They dont use standard size PSU

Dell outlet and Tigerdirect have good deals also. Do you have enough skill to build your own? you can still get a windows 7 license for $64 with student discount.

i would get an I7 barebones and at least an ATI 5850 if i was building a new machine

What I'm not confident in is choosing the components as I have not kept up with the latest tech.
