Should I have gotten these games?

I went to Gamestop the other day looking for Katamari Damacy, and ended up getting Klonoa 2 used for $25-10%. I was looking in the PS1 bin and saw two games that I hadn't seen around before. They were Grandia for $18 and Lunar Silver Star Story Complete for $30. Should I go back today and get these games? Are they rare?

Depends, are they disc only or complete?

If complete, grab them. Thats about what they cost and not a huge deal, but its hard to find them complete at all. I'm looking for both of them complete and I'd take them in a second if I saw them for that price.

Klonoa 2 isn't rare, but it isn't exactly common either. What it is is awsome, so congrats. The first Klonoa was pretty rare, and demand for it started to peak around the time when 2 came out, so I think a little of that sentiment tended to bleed over.

Grandia isn't too rare either, but again, not real common. I don't know about Lunar.

is Lunar Complete with all the extra stuff, or just the game discs? Either way, get it, great game. If it has all the extra stuff, $30 is a great price, if not, it's a little high.

I'm not sure if they are complete with manuals and extras since they had stickers on them to keep people from taking the discs. They were in the right cases with the Lunar case a lttle beat up and cracked on one of the corners. Should I ask if I can look inside to see what the condition is?

Yeah, I rented it from BB 2 years ago and have been looking for it since, and this has been the cheapest as of late.

Well at least it isn't as bad as my area, in mine it's hard to find Final Fantasy 7. I noticed when I went to Gamestop yesterday that they had a copy, for $20.99 preowned. That's just crazy.

As strange as it sounds, I think Lunar Complete is the scaled down version that didn't come with any extras. It should contained manual and two discs. The Lunar Collector's Edition was what came with all the extras.

It sounds like the Lunar is game disc only. If it's just the jewel case and not a cardboard case with the jewel case inside and the extra stuff.

Did it look like this: (Complete with all the stuff, cardboard box:

or this: Jewel case with game discs only:

I would say to go for Lunar if it comes with the manuals and such, but I'm not to sure about Grandia. I know that Grandia 2/3 and xtreme are sort of difficult to find on PS2.

i need to pick up klonoa 2 sometime.... i have the first one mint complete (bitches!) and the GBA one mint complete as well.... just need to finish off my collection :)

Are you asking if they are good, fun to play games? Or do you want to know if you can resell them for a profit?

Your answer to these questions would help determine how to answer your original question.

I saw Lunar 2 the other day at Gamestop but it wasn't complete. I know, I know, you can still play the game but dammit when I spend that much on an old PS1 game I want all of it.

I just got back and Grandia was gone, but Lunar was still there. I picked that up for $27 and it has the 3 game discs and the cd soundtrack, as well. No manual though, but it's still more than I expected. My DC copy of Grandia 2 didn't have the cd in it, so I wasn't expecting it here.

Gah! I cant stand Grandia. Such a mediocre RPG, terrible magic/battling/leveling system. It still stands as the only RPG I have started and didn't finish because I just couldn't stand it.
