CAGiversary!
A friend offered me $170 for my game library.

The games are:
1. Halo 3
2.
Grand Theft Auto IV
3. Bioshock
4. The Orange Box
5. Oblivion IV
6. Gears Of War
7. Command & Conquer
8. Assassin's Creed
9. Burnout Paradise
10. Deadrising
11. Ghost Recon
12. Marvel Ultimate Alliance
13. Forza 2
14. Call of Duty 2
15. Saints Row

16. Virtua Fighter 5

17. MLB 2K6
18.
Madden NFL 06
19. Eragon
20.
Madden NFL 07

Should I sell or hold out for a better price?

I'm really tempted to say that's a good price, considering they're all (probably) classified as "used", possibly all in great condition... buuut...

Halo 3, GTA 4, Orange Box, Gears, Bioshock and Oblivion being the best, but atleast two run $30 still, the rest for $20 to $30, so that's almost (or more, most likely) $150 alone.

Then there's the other 14 games which range (in value to decently-tasted gamers) from $5 to $20.

If you needed the money, it's an 'okay' deal, but you'd get more on ebay likely, if you didn't want to help out your friend.

Good luck :D

I agree you won't do MUCH better selling them separately. Plus you'd have to deal with the hassle of shipping things out. If you value your time, you're gaining a good deal here since it's pretty simple to complete this transaction.

You can buy Orange Box and Oblivion double pack for $30. Actually, if you take advantage of the pre-order deal at BB, it would be $20 for the double pack.

That's a weird pricepoint. I would have thought $200 ($10/game), but if you're going to settle, go with $170 + lunch (your choice) on them.

My magic price is about $8 per game that's not complete junk. Taking that logic, you're selling about 3/4 decent games and 1/4 fillers.

8*15=120
-1*5=-5

....You've got about 115 worth on your hands. Consider that these game prices are only going to go down......sell them.

I have decided to sell them.

I am pre-ordering Modern Warfare 2. COD4 was by far my favorite game of this console generation.

Thanks to everyone for replying.
