I'm amazed that you would defend Microsoft's hardware when both you and your friend had defective controller ports on your systems.
Rushed to meet the demand that they had caused by setting an impractical launch date. If they couldn't keep up with the demand, they should have waited until they were ready.
Why shouldn't he be upset? No matter what the product I'm buying, I would be upset if it took more than two of a product to get me one that's working and working correctly. Again, if Microsoft hadn't made the 360 such a rush job, the chances of this happening would have been decreased.
While there may be a lot of 360 bashing, there's also a lot of 360 praise here. Personally, you like it, great. I hope I'm not the only one that finds it hypocritical for you to become an Xbox fanboy after your PS2 laser broke, when you had hardware problems with your Xbox as well though.
Not sure what you have against Nintendo, but if the "system" itself is what gets you off, go ahead and pop a giant boner when the PS3 comes out and jizz all over its spec sheet.
This may be hard to follow. I'll seperate the points by spaces.
I'm suprised that it was so hard to understand. I was using the fact that I was so pleased with how the situation was handled to further my point. Had I had a more difficult time, like my ps2 experience, then naturaly my stance would change. My experience was in direct contrast to his. You may leave it at that, if you wish.
No one will deny that it was rushed. They had set a date that directly related to the ps3 and revolution. I personally believe that it was a mistake to release it as early. But bear in mind, had Sony kept their word and Nintendo continued waving sticks at them, then the release would have been perfect. Microsoft has gone on record to say that it was manufactoring problems that caused the delay. No one truly believed that the ps3 would be released in spring. There aren't even blu-ray players out yet. Microsoft did not become a world leader by making mistakes.
I lost alot of the remaining respect I had for sony when they officially delayed the ps3. I knew it was eminent, but still thought that they could possibly pull it off. Microsoft kept their word in the face or corporate suicide, and has faced the consequences: The front page of cheapassgamers.
For all of you out there, just imagine that nintendo pulled a sega. Just

ing imagine what they could accomplish if their systems, post snes, weren't shit.
I would love to masturbate on my ps3, however I will have to be working my hands to the bone to have 600+warranty by november. I may not be capable.
