Silent Hill 4: The Room PS2 ($4.99) / Taito Legends Xbox ($9.99) @ BB.com + ship/tax

I'm in for one, I knew there was a reason I stayed up and didn't go to bed yet...total was $7.23 with tax & delivery.
 
That's a very good deal for silent hill 4.Too bad,I already pick up it at TRU for $10.Awww,you cant save on shipping for store pickup due to the preorder status
 
Wow. The local Best Buy had at least 50 XBox copies of Taito Legends on the shelves last week, begging to be sold and the second this drop hits they're all out of the store. Pheh...oh well. In-store pickup would have been nice but I guess I won't be biting the bullet on the Taito with the tax and shipping on there.
 
If only I didn't pay $30 for SH4 when it came out on Xbox...

The bad thing is it's still unopen with my giant backlog of games.
 
sweet hopefully that price is good in store also, i probably buy it but i wont be playing it, wayyyy tooo sppoooky for my tastes
 
This is a head scratcher.

I wonder if I can get the B&M to eat this price today. I have to return a copy of Subsistence anyways.

I'd love hearing their excuses for not honoring the price.

"Pre-order" Hmm might be for a GH version (did silent hill 3 have one?). I can see the 4.99 price as being money down ie reserve and SH 4 will be 20. Can you get a refund if you put money down for a pre-order at BB?
 
I don't think that's the case, it's because the price in the system for SH 4 is $4.99 because they clearanced it out at that price and now plan to restock it but did not change the price

Is this $4.99 for the game or just to reserve a GH title?

Preordering a GH title is just asinine (unless it's a super duper Metal Gear rerelease :roll: ).

$4.99 is the price, I believe its been the price since it got clearanced out last year when I got my copy, during their great clearance sale.

They might have found some extras, and restocked with them.
 
Of course like any other deal that I actually would like to partake in, it's sold out. Would anyone have a copy of Taito Legends (Xbox) they would be willing to sell me? Or would this price be honored at the store? I'm getting mixed news about price matching B&M with *.com, so I'm not sure whether or not it will be honored.

My Best Buy has over a dozen of them in stock.

I was one of the first people to jump on this, and mine says it's backordered...not processing...guess I'll have to call tomorrow to cancel because it'll most likely be backorderd until I can get it for $1 somewhere.
 
I went to BB got my south park season 7. Grabbed a copy of SH4, asked the media person to check its price. It was $19.99 just like the tag says. I knew not to order it from BB.com. Everytime they have something like this SH deal online we CAG's always get shafted.

I got the same email, what a bunch of quacks. Then they sent an email saying it was backordered.
