Sims 2 save game question

My girlfriend just got a laptop and installed the Sims 2 on it (after almost 4 hours of working on it), which she had on my computer during the school year. Does anyone know where the game saves your info so I can possibly send it to her in some way (internet, or even mailing a CD to her if its to big to send). Any help on this is appreciated, thanks.

Usually games have a folder in the directory that says "profiles" or "saves".

Oh, I get it... your girlfriend plays Sims 2... ;-)

Check your Sims 2 directory and search for folders with names relating to Saves, etc.

C:\Documents and Settings\yourusername\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2

..should be it

I tried to look for a save folder and all that, but EA had to be complicated and not put one. I even tried to delete the game of my computer hoping that it would just leave the save files, but of course if I did that it would delete everything including the files I need.

The game did install a folder inside My Documents, so I'm hoping thats it. Oh well, I'm copying that folder for her now and going to try to send it to her, and if it doesn't work, I'll just keep on sending more files to her.

Thanks for your responses, any other suggestions would be good just in case this doesn't work.
