I agree but at least its three songs I have heard of, which beats out the majority of weeks which get 7-8 songs with only one song I have heard of.

Getting Crocodile Rock, Surfin' USA, Lady Gaga SongPack, and whenever that U2 song is available for solo release. :D This would mean that I have triple-dipped on Poker Face and Just Dance: twice on SingStar (singles trapped on another system and now the SongPack) and once on Rock Band. I'm such a dlc whore. :whistle2:(

I have a PS3 with the PS3 mics. Can I play Singstar Amped (PS2) on the PS3 with my PS3 mics?

I'd figure it out myself, but my copy hasn't arrived yet.
 
There really needs to be a FAQ in the OP because people keep asking the same mic/game questions. :lol:

Yes, you can play SingStar Amped on your PS3 with SingStar mics only if you disc swap it with a PS3 SingStar game. So, PS3 SingStar -> Hit Select and Disc Swap while in Carousel -> Insert PS2 Amped.

The US store's update keeps getting delayed...and delayed...and delayed. It's quite BS really. The "word" from Nina is that it won't be up until the 22nd, due to the Easter holiday.

Hi All, We're really pleased to be able to let you know about a great new gameplay feature coming soon to SingStar in the June update.

For the first time, you’ll be able to take part in Online Battles against your friends in SingStar. When competing in an Online Battle, you’ll send an invite to one of your PSN friends, match songs (you both need to own a song to play it) – pick-up the mic and in true MC style ‘let battle commence’.

When playing, you can view your opponent’s score live, and see them playing via PlayStation Eye.

As this is a new feature for SingStar, the team need to test out the gameplay with real players, and this is where you come in! We’re running a Closed Beta for our most dedicated SingStar players to come and help us test out new features and upgrades to the game. If you’re already a SingStar player aged over 18 with a European PSN account, have the game, mics and an online-enabled PS3, we need your help!

If you’re interested in taking part in the Beta, head over to http://betatest.software.eu.playstation.com/singstar and fill in the online questionnaire. Please note though that places on this Beta are strictly limited – you’ll be asked to participate on certain nights and feedback on the experience in the forums, so please only apply if you’re able to commit to this (and are happy communicating in English). Other than the wireless mics , contests, and certain song selections ( :cry: ), we have received every in-game feature the UK SingStar has... ;)

I doubt it since we didn't get anything from last update. Wireless mics are still nowhere to be seen. Rumored new discs have seize to exist (i.e. Motown or Song Pack with Wireless Mics, etc). They don't even do posts on the psn us blog site anymore. I don't have any belief that it will show.

Oh and you got to love Singstar Home... you get to listen to songs that aren't even available in the US. :applause:

So have I, and I bought a PSN card too so I could get some of those UK songs. Damn you SCEA, you have a large audience, get these songs and features implemented.

The mics were around $50 and the PSN card around $80.
 
Ok so perhaps I'm just tired but I can't seem to find Poker Face by Lady Gaga (a few of my friends want to sing it not me I promise :) ) despite it apparently being available. Is it gone from the US store or am I just looking in the wrong place (I've searched, looked under L, G, and the song packs and nada).
 
It was never on the U.S. store. It's only available on the UK store. Some of us have gone to extreme measure and started buying stuff off the UK store now.

By the looks of the recent markdowns at various stores (and no mention of another version coming), it looks like it's time for me to grab a $50 PSN card and d/ld the remaining songs I've been on the fence about. Better safe than sorry. Would suck to hop on one day and see they've taken down their US server. Doubt that will ever happen, but like I said....

This was actually supposed to be the SingStore update for March 25th, but for some reason they didn't make the update live until the 6th of this month. :lol:
Therefore, the April 8th update was pushed back to the 22nd. :cry:

She posted the US update. I or evergoo usually try to post them in the thread every other week or so. I skipped this week because evergoo had already posted the list a page or so back. Sony was VERY LATE on the US update.
 
Just got my first singstar PS2 disc today (80's), very slick how it works swapping discs with the PS3 game. Makes going back and forth among the discs extremely easy. As much as the issue with the store song selection is lame, it's very cool they enabled this feature especially when the PS2 games can be had for so cheap.

The What's Hot list had been out for a while... ;) I about shat myself when I saw MGMT, only to not do it when I realized it was a song they've had on there for over a year.

I was off by 1 (I guessed 7 songs in the update this week). Lips is getting to the point where they are adding at least 6 songs per week now. They've got a long way to go to get to the bulk of Singstar's offerings, but with these paltry "weekly" updates, it won't be much longer now...
 
Is anyone having any content downloading issues? I downloaded a new song tonight and I see the icon change in the singstore. I go to load my songs and it shows the additional artist count, but doesn't show the new song.

I won't bother posting up the UK since it's also worthless. In typical fashion, SingStar defies logic once again by continuing to release on Thursday even though PSN moved to Tuesdays. Here's hoping to a fruitful 5/20 update.
 
IF we get that Lostprophets pack, it's an instant buy for me. I still haven't resolved my current content issues. I cannot get new songs to show up in my song queue.

I only recognize two songs: Dido's and Lostprophets' Rooftops (LEGO RB).
 
We actually got everything the UK did for once (English only). The Lostprophets bundle is not in the update section. It's listed under song packs in the store.

Nope. I doubt we ever will. They're on LIPS, but not on Singstar.

Edit: Finally got my missing song issue resolved. If anyone else is having issues, try to download your songs by viewing store songs from your collection, then downloading them. I downloaded it from the Singstore and the song never would show up.
