Sins of a Solar Empire - $29.99 Amazon

fuck, bought it last week for 40. Well worth it though, even given the tiny amount of time I've put into it. School's kept me so busy I haven't even finished my first game. >.<

They're working on expansion that will include a campaign mode. Should be released relatively soon. This is a good time to pick it up so you'll know the ropes by then.
 
I hesitated when it first came out because i already had to many games. But at this price i can't wait any longer. I also added world in conflict and a copy of deus ex. Damn you amazon... Damn you to hell!

Too bad the campaign wasn't included with the original game. If this were EA, I'd accuse them of withholding it on purpose just to charge us for it later.

Yeah, totally. I *THINK* this isn't like that though as they're a small developer and I guess since it's a strategy game the lack of a story isn't as big of a deal as it maybe sounds. (I mean I'm playing Pirates right now which is awesome, and doesn't exactly have a story other than what you're making, and Civilization's like that, etc.)

I've heard nothing bad about this game. Tons of the PC Gamer and Maximum PC people have been talking about it for weeks on end (many having to set themselves limits for playing it during the week...since they end up and it's 4am or whatever and they're still playing :D ).

Argh, I was just thinking of picking this game up recently, but stopped when I compiled the lists of games I already plan on picking up this month! Plus, I really enjoy a good story while playing a game and this has none to speak of. Gameplay looks freakin sweet though, but I think I might stick with my Warhammer 40k Soulstorm for now.
 
Hopefully this means that Amazon is going to start matching ads quicker--usually it is Wed. or Thursday before they match.
