I've thought about doing that too. The only problem I've ran in to is that the perverts-er, customers are worried and skeptical about authenticity. I have some plans to take care of that. well my father said her friends are not even allowed to come into the cul de sac we live on so your plan would fall through right there. But I appreciate the support and help everyone has offered so far.

Sucks hard man. My brothers arent ones that have parties but there are kids here alot and everytime they leave or everytime my brothers take shit it better be all back. So far stuff thats been stolen from me are a few N64 games and my State of Emergeny only problem was is i was younger then.

My sibs never had a party but their friends lifted a bunch of shit from our house one time. My step-dad tracked down one kid and made a fuckin' scene in front of their place. The parents came out pissed off wantin' to know what was going on. He told them, they drug the kid out. Needless to say, he got his shit back. And my sibs got some of their shit taken away.

Ya know Casey, you could always take a horrible pic of her, photoshop it and threaten to post it everywhere unless you get your shit back....
 
I gotta agree with others, if she has a job she should be paying you back right now, I mean losing the games isn't the end of the world or anything but if she has the means to pay you back she damn well better be doing it.

Yeah, probably his sister. Probably happened while she was getting busy in the other room. Otherwise I think she'd notice people going places they're not supposed to.

She's probably not going to be able to pay you up front. Figure out what it will cost you to replace them and have her pay it off every week for like a month.

And get new sheets. This happened to a friend of mine, apparently her roommate decided it was a good idea to use her bed instead of her own. They say guys are bad but girls are the worst sometimes.
 
Make her buy back every game, paying the highest ebay price for them. You get the games replaced, her ass gotta work hard as hell to pay you back. Also, track down, the bastards that stole the games from your house, get steel-toe boot and Kick them in the nuts. THATS Justice!!

a couple NES games
a couple GCN games

either you have a hardcore gamer on your hands (come up Guilty Gear XX and Virtua Figher 4:Evo) These are hardcore gamer/fighting fan games and there are games here from at least 3 systems. Who this is should be pretty obvious since it sounds like your sister hangs out with the pop bunch (not the geeky gamer types...(my type so I hope no offense to anyone)) either that or they pawned it, in which case it shouldn't be impossible to find.

believe me I HATE going up north (sorry but its just fucking dumb up there). My Grandma was there and so was the rest of my family. Also it was my two cousins birthday (they are Irish twins) and I had yet to see either of them (as well as my uncle's new house, he is fucking rich so going there always makes my dad feel bad in a way)

I do not really know if we have theft insurance, but on a side note, my father has a fucking loaded gun next to his bed and a gun collection that is pretty nice(although he sold quite a few to start his construction company a while ago). I mean WHAT THE HELL WAS SHE THINKING!!!!! My father hates having people in the house and is parnoid someone is going to break in.

Having people going into bedrooms unsupervised is fucking wrong. If you throw a party, kick everyone out and throw the party outside

Attempted murder is making an effort to take the life of another person.. no matter what you do. Simple conspiracy to commit murder can be charged as attempted murder in some states.
 
Can you file a police report? Pawn shops have to hold stuff for at least 30 days, if someone pawns those particular games, it'd be easy to find them (what are the chances that it's coincidence that Wild Arms 3, GGX2 and Virt EVO are sold at the same time? GGX2 being key).

If they took it to FYE or EB or something, then I guess that's a little harder. Sorry it happened. Unfortunately, it's real easy to turn video games into liquid money as pawn shops and many other places will accept them. Hope you find a way to be compensated.
 
Girls are stupid. Its a fact of life. They just have no common sense, especially in youth. Talk to your father. Tell him that she needs to have her paychecks or tip money go directly to you. Add up your games taken at thier RETAIL cost and get all that cash back. Write up a list with totals and keep on top of whats paid back and whats not. Make her agree to a payment plan like 60 a month or something. I also suggest installing a doorknob with a key lock for when you leave the house. Ask your dad to help you install it if you cant and if he says no, tell him he can have a key as long as your stupid sister doesnt get it.

You should just find out where you can get all of the games that you lost and tell her where to get them. I understand that she has no cash, but you can not let her off easy. That's terrible. I once took a game from a party, well, I only realized it in the morning when I woke up and it was in my pocket. I returned it though, b/c if anyone took my games I would kill. It doesnt matter who you are.

Obviously, we come from very different backgrounds (well, either that or almost every one of the posts in this thread have been facetious.) It was a simple-minded mistake and one typical of a young girl. It's frustrating and you scold her for it. You try to reclaim what you can but most likely little can be recovered in such a situation. Chalk it up as one of those bitter life lessons for her (and for you.) Tan her hide, indeed. *snort* Just a lucky thing it was limited to games and nothing very expensive.

Tanning her hide is facetious, yes.. however she needs to show responsibility. If you have a party and someone's things get stolen by one of your friends, its your responsiblity to either reimburse for said items or have your friend return the items. Its not a bitter life lesson for her if its just blown off and she doesn't have to do anything about it.

If, she has to go without her cell phone or whatever to pay back what was lost, she learns a lesson about responsibility.

I don't think being female caused this to happen......it is the person's personality. I never once even threw a party at my house when everyone was away.......that didn't mean I didn't have my boyfriend sleep over by ourselves.....anyway, no reason to stereotype.

I mean, my brother's friend stole money from my room when I wasn't home before.....I was mad but I didn't blame all males, just teenage ignorance in general.

Basically me and my sister are cool now. I mean I am still pissed that someone stole from me, but she wants to set things right. Now shw knows not everyone can be trusted and you will never look at your friends in the same light.

In 5th grade I had my Jason Kidd jersey stolen from me at a party and the person who threw the party got me another. The next year he had the same type of party only like 5 of the kids that were there he year before got invitations to this party.

a couple of years ago someone stole 200 bucks from me(stole my wallet, which was worth almost as much as the money(it was a Coach). My friend and I never associated with anyone who was around in that time period from then on(he thought they had also stolen his gun, but he later found it)

my dad had his first wedding ruined because someone took 200 dollars out of my aunts purse. My father never let anyone from the wedding in his house ever again.
 
I HATE thieves. They are worthless. You can alwyas tell who the thief is, they will have the biggest lock on their door!

A lot of people posting on this thread have serious issues. Everyone is being extremely violent towards women for no reason. Keep in mind that this thread started with someone saying that his sister was responsible for some possessions of his missing. A lot of initial reactions can be divided into either 1)why don't you physically abuse her in an extremely violent manner, or 2)why don't you sexually abuse her by forcing her to be raped, or otherwise exploit her sexually for financial gain. Does anyone else find this disturbing?
