god damn, i leave for a few hours and suddenly this OTT is back from the dead. Oh, and 10 minutes until i change the name to a new ska song

Oh my bad shrike...I was hazzy about everything that went down but I did remember it was a mod. Sorry man.

EDIT: God I have no life that I am laying in bed listening to my buddies baseball game from Alaska while surfing CAG after midnight and I have class at 9.

My gf and I were watching tv ("Design on a Dime," where they remodel a room cheap to make it look stylish), and during the commercials, HGTV was pimping their other shows, one of which had something to do with "What's your Sign?" and how it plays into how a room should be designed.

So, gf mentioned that she's a Pisces, meaning her room would need to have water elements/colors in it. I said I was a Virgo, but that I didn't know what it would entail.

At this point, she said "What is that? The crab?"

Before I corrected her that it was Cancer, I laughed my ass off for a bit, thinking how appropriate that would be.

Also, "Burning Flies" by Looper is my new song of the moment. I realize this is the OTT and not the SOTMT, but dammit, it's just too good. It's the song from the first episode of Mission Hill, when Andy is walking back to his apartment after leaving work. I'm going to have to check the band out a bit more - all their songs have a sort of electronic NES theme.

Sagitarious so im...like... an archer and crap...

also, HGTV has some of the stupidest show ideas ever. Isn't there that one thing on America's Ugliest Bathrooms

i just went on to check, and i was right. also, apparently sagitariouses like a mix of designs *looks at random photo print of new york in corner of room, tv lying on the ground, and lava lamp next to working TV* yeah, i guess that kind of sums me up...

I'm going to need another RPG soon. I'm wrapping up Digital Devil Saga 2. I'm delighted that it required lots of walking back and forth and level grinding to get the extra stuff. The reason is, while running in circles, I've had time to read, where I otherwise would not.

So as crazy as it sounds, I want my next game to involve a kind of grinding that has lots of running back and forth.

My options:

Dragon Quest 8
Persona 1
Steambot Chronicles
Metal Saga
Shadow Hearts 3
Atelier Iris 2

There can be a decent amount of grinding like that in DQ8. In the beginning you have to grind a lot in the caves so you can even attempt to fight the boss, and eventually you have to do grinding against metal slimes if you want to be able to fight against the later enemies. Might be good to try out with this.

I hear there's a lot of level grinding needed in DQ8, though I haven't started it myself yet.

Great I get to write an essay on censorship and of course I had to argue with my professor over censorship since he was just simply commenting on controversial issues not really dealing with censorship.
wow, there's shit on TV during the day.
That's why having multiple TiVo's at home is a good thing.

Anybody wanna be in a newspaper? Alls I need is a pic, full name, hometown and an answer to a question. I'd scan it for ya if you say yes.

This isn't one of those "Why are you smiling?" things, is it?
cripes you're always on. do you do this full-time or do you have a real job too?
No, there's a real job to be had.

You're just used to being in the paper with a set of numbers and letters held under your face. Orange jumpsuit as well, I think.

Hey. They are burnt ochre.

Get it right.

Haha, nah, it's just a simple question, but not that simple/stupid.
haha, depends... what's the question?
"What music are you blasting in your car/headphones/speakers this summer? Why?"

And if you decide to do it, you can send the info to [email protected]
Hey. They are burnt ochre.

They're only burnt ochre when you get signed by flamethrowers trying to escape.

You get it right.

shit, I didn't even know him at all...

So has sub been posting under a different username? He's still at 22,222 and no activity for the last 2 weeks. Odd.

He's given up CAG it would seem. He said he would stop posting at 22,222 and that was it.

Dude. As much as I hate to say it, I think sub was/is smitten.

While we miss him, he spirit lives on through DCFox. :)

I was wondering to begin with, if he was just posting under another name also.

He did mention,
]22,222! I have this strange compulsion to just stop posting altogether, right now.
Didn't seem like a long planned thing though.

I was thinking he just went on vacation and didn't tell anyone, or as lionhart mentioned, maybe took some time from CAG for the lady.

I can't imagine him giving CAG up altogether though. When I first got came to CAG he pretty much posted in every thread in the Off Topic forums. That's a hard addiction to just go cold turkey.

Or he could just be lurking. You don't have to sign in to view the Off Topic forums...He could be reading this right now...

So I just got home from a friends house who had a small party last night. I drank for the first time in a while and it was a damn good time. To sum it up, the first thing I did when I got back to the girls house was pour two shots and when she came back to the kitchen we drank it and she almost gagged. 4 hours later we jumped in the pool, I woke up wet and in my boxers. Best time I've had in a while.

Where the hell would he go?
Anyone else wanna do that newspaper thang, or nah?
I'd help you out if I could, but I don't really have any specific thing I blast on the car radio because it's summer... it's usually mood dependent, regardless of the weather.
