Any Costco i've ever been to has the GH version, but to my knowledge, not the NonGH version.

Eh, if someone can get me a Symphony of the Night period, I'd be happy to pay for it + shipping + $5 for doing me a favor...

Its like a first print copy, like collecting a comic. I actually already own the GH version, and the Saturn version that has 2 extra stages and an added playable character.

yeah its like collecting a comic and we all know how VALUABLE first runs of comics are nowadays...

lol

I just noticed that at gamestop they had Preowned SOA for $44.99 which is more than their new price....

honestly I wouldnt hold out on getting this from gamestop

The pre-owned is higher because they actually have those in stock. This game has been oop for a while so I doubt GameStop will be getting any more. Unless they find an old box full of them stashed in their warehouse.

I don't know... Bust a Move 3000 is impossible to find, but when I checked Gamestop's 'instore availabiltiy' feature, it said all of the Gamestops within 100 miles had 'more on the way'. If they're reprinting that, then they could reprint Skies.

"From looking at Ebay, some sellers claim that this game is out of print now..."

Sega stopped production over a year ago. So there are no more copies being shipped out. Some stores still have some, but can't really get any more. Sega could always print more if they wanted, but the game didn't sell very well (I don't know why) so I doubt they will.

I see them on ebay now for over $50. I definitely recommend the game to anyone who like turn based RPGs. Its a great game and is only getting rarer every day.

Eh, all of the Ebay auctions now are around $40 ending. It's a shame really, this game was excellent IMO, and one of the few that was better than the sum total of its parts, a true test of whether a game is good or not.

What sucks is even when this game first came out I never saw it in any stores. I could order it online for $50, but didn't want to do that. Eventually I got one of ebay new for $32 which was a pretty good deal. Once in a while I see a used copy for $45, but even those sell pretty fast.

The story is excelent, the ship to ship battles are really fun. Plus you get to be a pirate. What more could you want.

Yea I shelled out the extra cash to get one, at 40 :( when I should have bought it at 25 when I could. I was just too spoiled, anyways after regreting my countless possibilites to get suikoden 2. I decided that spending the extra cash now was better than trying to get this later on.
