Well if you sign up for Lockerz and use 2000 ptz you can get it down to $46.19. http://shop.lockerz.com/electronics/playstation-3/sleep-dogs-ps3-8-14-2012.html
Unless you really need it around release, I would wait for it to drop. Square Enix games have a tendency to drop fairly quickly.

I really don't need the game that badly but I've seen it drop to around $36 but always managed to miss it.

Well they have changed the way ptz are earned now, but you get 500 to join and 500 to link facebook/twitter, so there's a start. You basically upload photo's/videos and get points (10) for everyone you put up there. There are also daily polls.
