i cant see the point for a pre-order when i dont even know the release date, especialy when the people that are making it say that it will be some time next year. thanks anyway OP. :)

You might be thinking of this year's E3 title "Watch Dogs" by Ubisoft. This one is "Sleeping Dogs" and it's by Square Enix

Don't feel bad, I actually came into this thread in the first place wondering why there was a preorder discount for a game that 'might' be a next-gen title with no discernible release date.
 
Unless its an RPG, youll be able to find any square enix game in the bargain bin shortly after release.

Guarantee you can get this one for probably 25$ or less come black friday

Ordered it. Looks like it'll be pretty good. But yeah now I'm wondering if that was a mistake and it'll just drop like a rock. It's really hard to tell sometimes. I was sure Dragons Dogma would drop but it's hung on to that $60 pricepoint far longer than I expected.

Last couple as in...the only two that were released?

I gotta disagree in any case, True Crime NYC is vastly superior to any of the GTA games IMO. The gameplay was far better, and you could retry after failing a mission. Innovation!
