Smack talk 360 problem!!

so i just got this thing from best buy and i go to plug it in and everything. i can hear other players but they cant hear me and i cant record my sounds and stuff. PLEASE HELP!!!

i dont need to follow the instustions cause im trying to talk with it and it wont even let me talk..i can only hear people.

That's twice you've spelled 'instructions' as 'instustions.' The red line under the word means that you're probably spelling it wrong. Also, others in the thread have spelled it correctly.

And now, to be potentially helpful: Is your headset set to talk?

reading instructions helps a lot, maybe ur mic is on mute, or not plugged in correctly.
