So my mom was shopping at Staples and there were some people outside of Staples selling coupon packs for various local businesses. One that caught her eye was a coupon pack for 4 Free Oil Changes at Firestone after you buy the pack for $30. She ended up buying 3 packs, one for me, her and my step-father. So far she has used one oil change (last week) and I have used one (just yesterday). With my current job, I go through about one oil change a month. I go to Firestone anyways because they're oil changes are around $25 rather than $45 literally everywhere else around here (near Baltimore).
Anyways, that's a really good deal 'cause instead of paying $25 x 4 = $100 or $45 x 4 = $180, you're only paying $30.
I saw that the pamphlet has a website smartcircle.com. You type in your zip and they show you the available deals in your area. My coupon pack has a handwritten expiration date for a year from when it was bought. Firestone isn't appearing on the website anymore for my area, but Merchant's Tire is for the same deal plus 4 Tire Rotations and blah blah blah for $31. It appears that the cheapest shipping is $3 which isn't bad compared to what you're saving.
There are other deals such as for restaurants, amusement, entertainment, movies, sports, etc. The people who sold the initial pamphlets to my mother said that it was for some kind of fundraiser for charity I believe, though I'm too tired right now to do the research. I plan on buying a few packs tonight, for me, my parents, my g/f and her parents.
