Alright,

I know I'm going to get seriously flamed for asking this, but you guys know the internet better than Me or my friends will ever dream of so here goes.

I saw Brittany perform "Everytime" a year or so back on SNL. I had remote in-hand, ready to change to...well, just about anything else because I was expecting more crotch-grabbing Madonna wannabe action. Instead, she sang Everytime and her performance completely blew my mind. I googled it once and was able to pull up an mpeg of the performance. I have tried since and all I get is "Brittany's boobs", "Brittany XXX", "Bend Brittany Over", etc.

I'm not a fanboy or anything, would just like to know if I'll ever hear the live SNL version of that song again. Does anybody know (or, more importantly, admit to knowing) if it is/will be availalbe on a CD or if there is a place I can buy/watch it on the internet? Are there SNL archives of performances?

I'm not going to bash you. Everyone has different musical tastes. If you start asking pictures for shirtless backstreet boys, though, I'm going to back out of the thread. The song itself is very sad and the video is depressing.

Check IRC.. a quick google found this site, http://www.britneyzone.com/multi.html .. couldn't find the performance though, sorry
 
A piece of advice:

If you truly do love that song, never watch the onyx hotel live from Las Vegas concert that was broadcast originally on Showtime cable. Brittny was obviously either heavily drugged or drugged and drunk. And unfortunately for you, the worst song of the set was "every time".

What happened is she gave a big speech about how much the song meant to her while sitting behind the piano like she was going to play it. She proceeded to say it was her favorite song on the album and then preceded NOT to play the piano as she began the song. The entire song was completely out of tune and she did not hit one correct note during the entire performance of the song. In fact, this was the first time I had heard every time and when I heard the prerecorded mtv version later I was shocked to learn it was the same song she had botched so badly during the concert tour.

You would think Brittny's handlers would have gone out of their way to make sure she was sober for the performance considering they knew it was going to be live television, but apparently not ;-)
 
Ya... like that one... she did have a good live performance on some other show though, that I remember watching with my ex. We were both surprised at how well she could sing.

And a lot of great bands come on and play like terrible, it always a crap shoot with their musical guests.
 
I cant really find reason to flame you. Even though I prefer rock-n-roll, I have to admit Britney is easy on the eyes.

The thing is, I dont watch a lot of TV and I dont listen to the radio so I am not overexposed to Britney. I can understand if you see too much of one person, you may get sick of that person.
 
Woah...that was actually pretty good. In Britney standards that is. Now why can't she sing like that all the time?

I still say my girlfriend sings better than she does.

SteveMcQ - You're a lucky man. My girlfriend is a pre-school teacher and has a phenomenal voice because she sings to those kids all the time, but she's really shy around me. I don't think I would be lucky enough to hear her sing solo without the radio blasting at the same time.

Thanks a lot everyone. If anybody knows if SNL will ever come out with a CD that has this song on it I'd love to know about it.
 
Ok... why the fuck can't she sing like this all the time? She obviously has the talent by singing this, so why does she usually lipsynch to a shitty voice? It's a conspiracy!
