oh great... then my old 5th grade teacher (who still works at the same damn school after all this time) will tell them that I was good with computers when I was younger...in the SS mind that translates to Computer Hacker.

About being flagged in the fbi database?
Hmm..
Well when I started in the field of education I went thru the normal hiring process, fingerprinted, background check and so on. Things went fine and I was given a badge and the ok to start my assignment (technology)...two days after I started I get a call at work from HR. Basically I get a grilling from them saying that my background check has come in and it says that I have been "processed before". I was like WTF?!?!!? I have never been arrested or questioned by the police or anything. They asked if I had any warrants or anything that could trigger this in my file and I said no. Instead of believing me he told me per standard county procedure I have to be put on suspension until it can be cleared up. I could not believe this at all.
HR could not tell me anything and refused to clear up the situation. So for about 2-3 weeks I was without a job wondering what the
happened. Then I get a call saying my background check has come in and it is clear. He would not tell me what the
happened or anything but said I could go back to work immediately.
Anyways I think what happened is that HR
ed up and didn't do the proper background check (which takes time) and when they figured it out, they put on that show so it makes it look like it's my fault.
When I transfered to another county, I got a "Hmmm" from HR but my background check cleared.
I was thinking of applying to be a police dispatcher but I don't think I will pass the polygraph test
