Man, this friend of mine got lucky and found a new Wii for $300 off Craigslist, when everyone else is charging $400 +. Which means he probably won't be looking anymore which means I'm back to being on my own for this stupid fucking Wii.

This is such fucking bullshit, and I'm really REALLY tempted to fucking clean the store out when I find them just so I can get paid for the colossal amount of time I wasted looking for this piece of shit.

But I'm poor, and can't do it, while people on SD buy 3 and 4 a day. And to think I used to be ashamed of the minor bit of reselling I did. Those people times it by fucking 10.
 
Dkellar, I'm rather jealous of your DIY-ness.

I really need a new DVD rack, since getting those 3 24 seasons definitely filled mine up and then some, plus stuff I've accumulated for Xmas. Yours is looking quite beautiful, but sadly I'd fuck it up beyond belief if I tried my own.

The most annoying part was that most of the people there knew jack shit about where stuff was. Nor did any of them try to find somebody that might of known. The guy still should not have been on the phone. It made me feel like I was more of a pest than a customer. I'm not to sure if they could of looked the item up in the computer. So, no I did not get the item I was looking for and I will probably have to check Lowe's again or another Home Depot.

It would be alot easier if stores were fucking organized, and I didn't have to compete against these people who make it their life's goal to get them before me.

Why the hell did people ever bitch about stores holding back for a specific date? The alternative is the clusterfuck we have now where they are impossible to find and every store employee is a prick because they are sick of hearing the question.

I guarantee I am more sick of asking it then them hearing it.

I'll still keeping looking for Dawn of Sorrow for you... I did look in that TRU I went to a few days ago, but all they had was Bad Boys 2, Burnout 3, and some kind of Horsez game.

I feel shitty relying on people to help me find this shit but damn, this is ridiculous... I literally spent all of this week tracking it down, I've used every internet clue I have, but I just don't have the money to keep pumping gas into my tank. I've already had to fill up twice in one week.

I almost drove to an EB an hour away that got them, I never would have made it before they opened, and they sold it within 20 minutes, so I'm lucky I didn't go.

Well, I'm glad you like it. It's looking better now that I finally got the wood putty to work the way I want it to. I have messed the DVD rack up a few times and almost drilled through a couple of DVDs/games since I was using them as a guide for the shelf spacing. I screwed up because I started to rush and take short cuts. It wasn't difficult to build it. Hardest part was getting the shelf spacing. I can help guide you in building one if you want. I did make mine a little more difficult due to the certain measurements I wanted it to be.
 
At first it was like, I was just getting one because it was a gift, but now it's like I want one just because it's such a huge challenge to even find one.... I'm worried I've hyped this thing up so much in my head it's going to be a huge let down.
 
The Wailers were fucking great. I got somethng on my phone recorded but I haven't listened to it yet. Probably a shitty quality that you can barely hear :( .

So I guess I'm currently trying to find a wii for you and rogue trooper for brak. also probably still got an eye out for RE:Deadly Silence for McGavin27. Probably will have more luck for you or brak though, I've only seen one RE within 3 TRU in this area and it was gone when I went back for it.

Don't feel bad. Fellow CAG help other CAG out! I helped Kain Vincent complete his Valkyrie Profile and got him a complete and awesome condition Suikoden 2.

I go back to school on Monday and there is a mall with an EB in it across from the bus stop. I can easily stop in there daily to see if they have any Wiis. Plus it's not all the busy in there during the week.

I know you aren't looking for DOS for me but I'm tempted to check out the local K-Mart and see what I find there. However my gut feeling inside of me is that I'm just as likely to find a copy of "Wing Commander: Kilrathi Saga" there.

Personally I have given up on trying to find a Wii until at least another month or two. I got a feeling by then it will be a bit easier to find. I got plenty of games sitting here to play until then. No hurry for me here. :D

No, but it will be good practice. I've been meaning to place a very large order for like a year or so. I just want certain manga before it does OOP and I need to place a large order to help balance out shipping since for $200, it will be like $100 of manga and $100 of shipping. All in all, it should come out to 5-6$ per manga.

My friend asked me about Gamefly and their plans. I took a look at the site, and noticed that they're giving subs of PSM as a bonus. IMO a swift kick in the nuts would be better.

BF was pretty fun tonight. Dumbass people on the other team kept running into my land mines. After you die 3 times on land mines it doesn't hurt to keep an eye out for them. Didn't help our team kept running over them as well.

I'm kind of getting the feeling that this Madden Wii review I'm working will be of the "it's negative the whole time while giving a very good score" variety. Hopefully it's just the one paragraph damning the complex defensive controls.

You can also A) make a folder with a name like "horse porn" on the desktop, take a screen shot, make that picture the actual desktop background, and then delete the folder, thereby causing your friend to worry about why he can't delete the folder (as it isn't there), or B) you can change the background image to something disturbing, and then turn off the right-click option to change the display settings (this requires some registry editting).

Apparently the friend I was talking about, who was looking for the Wii for his friends, his wife dosen't feel comfortable buying it off a stranger off Craigslist so when the guy writes back he's going to pass his email on to me... he wrote the seller telling me he was going to pass but he's already lined up someone else (me) to buy from him.

I'd have to hammer out the details, but after tax a Wii is around $270 here... the guy wants $300 for it, which is basacially a $30 finders fee, which is absolutely fine by me. My Mom will put forth the $270, the $30 comes out of my pocket.

What do I need to double check to make sure of before I buy this if it does go through? A gift receipt or any type of receipt is a must, correct? I remember hearing the Wii has no seals so should I open it and take a look to see if everything has all the right pieces?

Make sure all the parts are there and that the item is still covered by the store's return policy and that the system came from a store that won't mind giving you cahs back even if he bought the system on credit.

There should be a Wii, wiimote, nunchuk, manuals, wii sports, sensor stuff, and that's it, right?
 
What the hell kind of chicken comes in a can? The only kind that I can think of offhand would be canned soups/stews.

I didnt know they put chicken in tins like tuna if thats the case.
