for $40 cash, the guy sold me marvel vs capcom, marvel vs capcom 2, (both complete) a dreamcast with 1 sega controller and 1 third party controller.

good deal? inputs?
 
Very nice deal. For the price I would've expected the MVC games to be copies or something, but if they're full retail versions with instructions you scored a pretty hot deal.
 
Great games, now you just need to find either arcade sticks or convertors for the DC so you can use Saturn pads on it.

yeah. we have have a few arcade sticks at the game store I work that my boss is looking to get rid of asap, so I know I can get those pretty cheap.

As for OP, fairly decent deal. Considering it came with MvC2, I'd say that made the deal worth $40.

Oh, and I am new, but I still hate you. I wanted a dreamcast for Samba de Amigo and was pretty close to buying it just for that but held off. Yay for the Wii annoucement.

I'd try out Craigslist, except I'm not up for actually meeting and making an exchange. Never know what kind of crazy ass people are out there.

They had an article the other day about a family with two little kids who got held at gun point and their car and money stolen, thinking they were going to get a new car....so there are some crazy's...but most people just want to get rid of some old games, systems, goodies etc.



SL4IN, I'm jealous, but really, congrats on a great find! Hope you enjoy them...or reap the profits!

What she said. That even puts my Black Sega Sports Dreamcast with 3 controllers, 2 vmus, and a bootleg sonic advance 2 sitting inside the system all for $7 to shame.
