my friend and i went to 2 eb locations and a pawn shop after school. at the first stop i picked up legend of dragoon (non-gh) in mint condition. yay me and he got dark cloud. since eb has that buy one get one 50% off we got them for like 10 bucks after the edge card.

after that we headed to the otehr one. i saw two copies of saiyuki with booklet in great condition( very minor suface scrates. i took the one withthe better manual and chose the better looking of the two disk and my friend picked up FM4. likewise with the deal and the edge card it came out to like $18.

so then we headed to this pawn shop because i saw FF legends 2 there a couple days before. the guy was like $10 bucks and i denied it. at the same time we were looking at that game, we overheard thid dude trying to sell gba games and the pawn shop was gonna take the 14 games and give the guy $40. he was like $50 but the dude said no so i said i'd take a look at a few of the games. turns out he had some damn good games. just cartridges though.

me and my friend ended up snagging golden sun, BoF 1 and 2, klonoa, and castlevania HoD for $25.

so the conclusion is....

dark cloud, FM4, LoD, Saiyuki, and the 5 gab games for about $50. i thought it was a worth while day. seeing as our origional intentions were to find a copy of FF tactics advanced.

the other copy of saiyuki is still there so if anyone is interested i could pick it up for them.

You stole a sale out from under a pawn shop? I think I'd be skittish to mess with those guys. A little different from trying to snipe out from under an EB dweeb IMO.

I always wonder why guys like that don't just sell their stuff on eBay. Maybe he needed quick cash, I guess.
 
saiyuki was 12.99 the otehr copy has the insert aswell. the disk just doesn't look quite as good. very minor cosmetics flawas(light scratches and a long smudge, not a finderprint i don't think) over all it ooks pretty good and i just had to jump at it because i think iwas going to lose my auction for saiyuki.


as for the guy trying to sell at the pawn shop. he didn't even know how to put the games in the gba. he put them in with the sticker side face in. seriously not too smart. i wish he would have sold them for 20 though. i could have gotten some fried chicken.
 
hmm well i was going to pick that game up anyways, luckily i didn't today or else i wouldn't have had enough money to snag the gba games. i will definately pick it up tommorow... hoping its still there.

i got the impression that zionoverfire wanted the game. ahh. well i mean, dazz you only want it for the insert right? i'm unsure if zionoverfire wants an incomplete game or even if he wants it at all.

i'll pick it up no matter what... oh and from your list the only thing that interests me is final fantasy orgins and a memory card. hopefully we could work something out so we all end up getting what we want. until then.

He probably stole them if he doesn't even know how they work. I wonder what percent of all stuff at a pawn shop is stolen?

100%?some of the games have outrageous prices. wcw nitro is sold their for $30 lol all the gba games were selling for 20 each so if he bought them for $2 he'd be making a huge prophit if someone actually goes to pawn shops to buy games.

I passed one at EB a few weeks ago. It had no imanual. I thought You got it on ebay. No?

A got Legend of Mana on ebay. I wasn't watching Saiyuki and got sniped on a very cheap complete copy. ](*,)

back when final fantasy tactics was a GH, and was pricy on ebay, I found 4 copies at a pawn shop, 3 sealed, for 10 a piece.
