So what is there to do in DALLAS?

yea to my suprise.. i just arrived in denver a few hours ago....i was pumped when i heard it was snowing... first time ever seeing snow...

im currently at some cheap ass hotel on quebec cause everything was booked on tower rd.. thats what i get for not being well planned..

anyways it took me forever to find this place.. streets are dark as ballz...

Not to mention, if you're on Quebec, you're right outside the major ghetto, Five Points. It's pretty gritty, but on Quebec you should be good. How about that weather today? Clear as a bell, melting all the snow from last night.

Told you our weather was fucked up. :p
 
Yeah, Funny how the temp is supposed to be 37 tops today. I wish the snow didn't all melt though, its fun driving slick roads durring the daytime. But at night, its freaking scary.
 
yea man i was fucking taking a shit when my plane landed..we were flying over thunderstorms and shit..sick view from the plane...

i had a huge mission finding a fucking hotel. not to mention i was fucking lost for like an hour in those dark ass streets and fucking snow everywhere.. icy roads and shit..it was scary.. i eventually made my way to the fukkin hotel though..

i should of damn reserved ahead of time.i called like all the hotels on tower road and everything was booked. in one of those hotels the girls at the desk actually called hotels in the area for me.. they were cute and helped out so that was awesome. i have run into allot of nice people...not one rude person..

i made my way to downtown today.. checked out 16th street mall..took the free buses up and down 16 th street. ate at chipotles..and it was cool seeing coors field, some mens cabaret..denver post.. pepsi center..

i originally wanted to stay in downtown tonight because i wanted to checkout nightlife/girls but everything was sold out and/or too expensive..

im at a quality inn at peoria tonight...conveniently theres a dennys like right here

i wanted to see more snow but i guess thats not happenin..
 
well since im heading out to denver next week again... i thought id revive this classic thread...

so how the fuck's denver now? i wanna go catch next friday's nugget game
 
Its supposed to snow sporadically over the weekend. Some roads are bad (namely side streets). Its not too cold, but when the breeze/wind picks up, it makes it seem alot colder.
 
Don't come here. I'm not even fucking kidding. The whole state is two colours- white and brown- and fucking frozen. It sucks ass

i think this will be quick stop for me then... may leave thursday and come back sometimes saturday afternoon/evening...

ill have to go back out there a few more times anyways...
 
due to fucking expensive aa tickets...

im leaving friday morning and arriving at noon... im going to make this a short visit and come back the following evening...

cant miss out on superbowl weekend saturday night.. clubs should be hot around here with tourist chicks

i think im going to stay at the courtyard marriot on 16th st.

its small but conveniently located plus has a bar/lounge. unless you guys think their is a better option which is also around 16th st and close to pepsi center and bars and stuff...

valet only parking which is $20 sucks though

i also thought about the westin...this is gonna be a quick trip though so last thing i want is to stay inside hotel all night ( hence why i prob wouldnt do brown palace)..

get there at 1pm.. gotta go to do some work right away... then depending on the time i get out ill go to hotel or to pepsi center... dunno yet..
 
I dunno how much the Adam's Mark costs per night, but I'll be staying there with a discount in June. Looks like an amazing hotel, and I'd assume it wouldn't exceed $160 for you. It's right on 16th street, which is a biiig plus.

I get the oppertunity to stay there free of charge each year for the CMEA conference. It too is a very upscale hotel, easily the nicest I've stayed at, but you really have to be into the Victorian decor to appreciate the hotel itself. I don't, so it's pretty much just a nice play to stay for a weekend. :lol:

Keep in mind rooms go for $300 a night.

The AF doesn't give me that much to pay hotel expenses with. I usually stay in days inns to build my points up
