So what is there to do in DALLAS?

it's a person to person site, and stubhub is just in the middle. Kinda like ebay, but for tickets. I've had no problems with them, but i did order tix to a concert that was 21+, but it wasn't advertised as such on the site, and i had to return them, and they handled it great.

also, get tickets to the hawks-mavs game too, it's only 6 bucks for the cheapies

Well the Mesquite Rodeo doesn't start up for a few more months, so that's out.

The Texas Gun & Knife show will be in Denton, 2/24-2/25.

Most people in Dallas like to eat (and drink), Addison is a good area for restaurants and bars. It's north of downtown Dallas, exit Belt Line Road from the Dallas North Tollway.

If you like clubs/music, Lower Greenville has some good live acts from time to time. Depending on your music tastes, of course.

Excellent, I was off on adventures ranging from Virginia to California not to long ago. I miss being on the road, it was a lot of fun. Only problem was I never stayed in a city more than 2 nights, and I spent a lot of time in smaller towns. I'd have really enjoyed spending my time exclusively in larger cities, like LA, San Diego, Chicago, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Minneapolis/St. Paul, and so forth, instead of having to leave those places for Ft. Wayne, Des Moines, Yuma, Fargo, Springfield (MO) and places like that.

yea thats cool.. this is going to be the longest ive been away though.. gonna be a full work week ( 5days ) in dallas.. luckily for denver and now dallas ive been able to stay right in the downtown area...

now i have to find out whats in the area.. wonder if theres any game stores..
sounds like youve been around. im now just starting...

i also seem to keep missing wrestling shows.. a few weeks sooner and i could have been to raw etc
 
well im lovin dallas so far except for the lack of game/electronic stores in downtown..

ate at the hooters in downtown.... OMG amazin women!!

also eaten at el fenix(sp?) and this place called jakes uptown... both were great
