Oh man, I LOVE these kind of games.

>>> I voted " PS3 (PS Network)" too.
Yea, shmups are my fav games to play right now, it's just pick up and play, and you're never bored :D

I think we can assume it's going to be decided between Live or PSN. Go PSN! We need more games!

Got a couple stickers for this game in my play-asia orders.

If I were to pick one form of media for it to be delivered on, I'm going with PS3 Disc-Based. Though it's easy to share it with a few other people lessening the cost if everyone chips in, I think I'd still rather have something that I know I'll have for years without any possible limitations surrounding digitally delivered media. Plus I'm a bit of a collector, so yeah. :p

I'd rather them, offer this on the PSN then maybe do a "collection" with whatever future titles they make or add-ons on disc later down the road.

Seems like you can vote every 24-48 hours ???:/

I decided to check out the poll results so far and I was able to cast another vote ...so I did :D
I voted for PC. My last choices by a mile were PSN and XBLM
Boooo, go play some Shanghai Alice Shmups on the PC!

What the fuck did you just tell me to do?!?!?!?!? BOY!?

So... the hell is a Shanghai Alice Shmup anyway?

Oh, but to be fair, I would be interested in getting the game on a disc if it was on the PS3 or 360.

That game is a fucking works of ART!!!!!! I would love for more 2d games to be developed with this kind of detail. I wish Arrow Flash could be remade like this game... I hope they bring this to PSn at least...

Damn Skippy

I'd also love it if Shanghai Alice/Touhou got in on some PS3 action :D

I swear, if I had the connections and tools, I'd pool together Nippon Ichi, Falcom, and Shanghai Alice and come up with crazy ass game :p

One game I always think about remaking is Guardian Legend from the NES. My fav NES game, beats out all the other classics for me. Iron tank was also at the top of my list for remakes :D

One day, just maybe one day...
Sool-dinner ecks: High-mel-stoormer

??? I guess
close, I'd probably say him-mel-stermer. It's actually a combination of stoormer and stermer, stuermer if you can imagine.

It seems to mean sky striker, but german names just sound cool.

Oh, yeah, the Touhou games. I know those. I didn't recognize the Team Shanghai Alice nonsense though, so that's what threw me off.

Either way, still want this on PC.

Guardian Legend combined the shooter and RPG genres well, and I loved playing this game all the time (still do :D).

Only decent video other than the 23 pt. 1LC Run that shows Guardian Legend:

I seem to be strolling away from the purpose of this thread, but I'm a shooter fan, I can't help it :twoguns:

well though I am tired of shooters on the PS3 and 360, it's nice to see this one on the PS3. Seems to me PS3 PSN games always are full of more polish and cheaper :)

heh, I'm a shooter junkie so it works for me :p

720p works for me

Touhou games...another bunch of good reasons why I need a 30-40 hour day.

I hope this game is good. Would love to play an HD shmup. I hope this is decent priced since its a download, ie. $20-30 max. I hate paying for downloads though...

The PSN library is going to benefit greatly from these classic SHUMPS... SHUMPS are just a timeless genre..

anyway,

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

Got an e-mail about the game today from Play-Asia:

I'm guessing PSN price might be $40, hopefully $30 :whistle2:k

It was announced at the end of August, Two Player Online Co-op might be a possibility for the PS3 Version.
Double the players, double the fun! The newly implemented Co-Op mode allows you to play simultaneously with a friend. Co-Op Play is currently supported in the PC Edition in offline mode only. I know, this is a very old thread, but here's an update:

Hi Marco,

Thanks a lot for your e-mail.

We are working on it and should have an update with more details and PS3 screenshots by end of this month. The game will be released in early to middle of Q4/2008.

To answer your question, the PS3 version will support rumble and is also planned to have Trohpy support, yes. smile

Please check back later for more updates. If you further wish to contribute, please feel free to make your feedback public in our official forums or drop us a line.

Regards,

Team Söldner-Xwww.soldner-x.com

So the game will get rumble and trophy support. Pretty cool news, and it's still coming. :D

Nice to hear this is still in the works... Are they going to be at Leipzig? Or at least maybe get a spot in the Sony conference.
