hey man, the best earbuds I've used are Creative EP-630's and EP-830's. These retail in stores for around $40-50, but plenty of new sets go for like $5-10 on ebay.

They're the bomb...try some out, it's really cheap

FWIW, people say that most, if not all, the cheap EP630s on eBay are fakes, and bad ones. It might be risky to get them there.
