Its funny how there weren't any copies of FF IV advance left when they were $9.99 but now they have like six for $19.99.
 
TRU in Southfield MI had TR, XMEN, OUTFIT for 360 for $19.99. I also saw Metroid Pinball and Trace memory for DS for $9.98. Tomb Raider for XBOX in a hologram case was also $9.98. Im going back tonight with cash. :applause: I forgot to look but I hope they have King Kong for 360 for $19.99

Went by TRU after work today after reading this thread. After painstakingly searching this same store a few days ago and finding nothing...amazingly, I find one w/o hardly having to search at all. So thanks for the heads-up.

Went ahead and bought it because I haven't been able to find it at any K-Marts or Sears in the past few months.
 
I picked it up and played for a few mins. Nice lil pick up and play game. Wish it was the Lite Rumble Pak but not bad. Especially for $10. I also picked up Trace Memory. Not really my thing, was also $10. Just a lil too slow for me. Anyone want that?

Point Blank DS was marked UP to $19.99 and Tales of Legendia (PS2) was marked back UP to $29.99. Tried both today at the register.

Lame how many clearance games have gone back up after just a few weeks. Think that's about 10+ different titles that CAGs have reported going up.

EDIT: According to Wikipedia, it still works with the DS Lite, it just protrudes from the back instead of sitting flush. I have no problem with this.

I just recently purchased a DSL, so I'm not up to speed on all the minute details yet.
 
I never saw this in any of the markdown threads, so I apologize if its in there, but I stopped by my local TRU and saw Snood 2 on a clearance table for 9.98. I've never even seen the game on shelves before, so maybe its something they had forgotten in the back.
 
Just in case anybody is wondering.. The HALO triple pack was ringing up for $49.99 at several TRU. So no luck at it ringing up a Kmart prices.. :cry: At least i got one for there for 12.99 :cool:

I bought Metroid Prime Pinball today at TRU for the $9.XX price. I got it mainly for the Rumble Pak, but my brother and I are having a blast with the game.

I also picked up StarFox Command for $30. I received $50 for submitting a video review to shopwiki.com and getting it approved, so I rewarded myself! :D

I find it very odd that anyone has managed to find these games (esp. the PS2 ones) after the first week - it seems the markup would be moot as the games have been long gone, except for Sigma Star Saga that is...

I'm glad I bit on Point Blank and Deep Lab, though, as I wasn't sure I even wanted them at $10. But they disappeared after the first week (and they had more of these than most of the hot PS2 stuff) and now, apparently, they are marked up. Wierd... If only Lost Magic had been $10.

At all my local TRU's they were wiped out within the first week. Hell, I went out to one the day before the sale started and they only ever had 1 copy of most of these (which I bought for subsequent adjustment).

Maybe some TRU's have restocked? But I went to one last week and they still had just the dregs of the clearance (Tomb Raider, Winback, etc) with nothing restocked even at the higher prices.

Slim to none. The remaining Micros we had left were manually marked down to $30 (big red square tag) two weeks ago, pretty much saying that they are gone for good.

That's what typically happens. Take Ace Combat 5 for example. It was green tagged last year, ending at $5 (most likely all being sold at the $10 price point). Several months later, Ace Combat 5 came back into stock, but with a $19.99 price point.

It doesn't make much sense, other than the possibility of oversights, not thinking ahead, etc.

I know that I only found Steambot Chronicles during the first day or so, and I never saw Metal Saga, nor AI2 or any of the other hotly requested PS2 games.

Most of the good DS games weren't at any of my normal TRU's that I'd hit, save one way out of the way that had a number of RE: DS and C: DOS .
 
I thought I lucked out with Steambot Chronicles. They had a bunch of display cases-but apparently no copies of the game. I really wanted to try that, but didn't think I'd like it well enough to pay full price.
 
Even in LA, where I thought I wouldn't find a damn thing, I scored all of the PS2 and PSP RPG's. I traded extras for the various DS games that were clearanced sinc LA was seriously lacking in these, and the only things on the list that I missed that I really wanted (didn't spend a lot of time looking over the XBox list or selection) were PSP Gradius Collection and PSP X-Men Legends 2.

There have been so many damn PSP game and UMD clearances everywhere, but I can't seem to score on these.
 
My local TRU stores is very $uck. They pulled all the clearance games & saying it OOS. Most of the games should be $10 now it went up $20 - $30. Oh well, it'll going back down again......!!!
 
I ended up calling all the TRUs on Long Island looking for a micro and the smithhaven TRU said they had 2. I was gonna buy both but when I got there one was just an empty box. But at least I got 1 :) Thanks for the heads up on the micro ^_^
 
I got fairly lucky today, went to a different TRU since i was in the area, manged to score a few. i saw a fatal frame 3 for $20 but passed, also had like 4 tales of legendias for $20 still but i already grabbed it, many of the clearance games were still on the shelves

Gun Star Hereos - $9.98 (not rare but for the collection)
Advance Wars DS - $9.98 (for trade)
Meteos - $7.50 (for trade)
Polarium - $4.98 (for trade)
 
Found ChoroQ (PS2) for $4.98 at TRU today. Also bought an Xbox Dance Mat for $6.98. It was the third party one in the HUGE green box with the foam padding. They had some extra ChoroQ if anybody else needs me to pick one up for them.

Karaoke Revolution Party Bundle (Xbox) appears to have been marked UP as well. Had it scanned and rang up $39.99. Seems like various clearance games that were not there before have been restocked and marked up.
 
I've got most of the titles I wanted from local TRUs and through help from CAGs. The only remaining title I've been searching since day 1 of sale is Castlevania: DoS. All the TRUs in my area never seemed to have it even before the sale.

If anyone has a spare C: DoS for trade/sale, please PM me :)

I gave up on finding Castlevania DoS at TRU or Kmart (where it is $9) and just bought it for full price at a Gamecrazy (they seem to be well stocked with them at least as it is starting to become hard to find in general again let alone on clearance). Since I had traded a few of the Kmart clearance games there I essentially got it for the same clearance price anyway - good stuff...

You can also find them at Gamerush. I have seen them on several occasions.

The one i went to had a few ChoroQ's, didn't think it was worth grabbing though.
 
Something else you might want to look out for. Not sure if its YMMV. I saw the XBOX surround sound Speaker system for $25.00. It was a pretty big neon greem box.

Believe me, if my GR had DoS I would have had it a long time ago. They had one copy for a while after release but as soon as I heard it was getting hard to find (like a year ago before the first reprint) I went in to get it and it was gone. I had been waiting for a price drop/sale on it #-o. My GR *NEVER* restocks DS games so once something is gone, it is gone forever. I'm very surprised it would show up again even at other GR stores. But then again, mine seems to be the worst of the worst in terms of DS (and Wii) stock.

Which Surround system are you talking about?

Damm i had no Ideal this sale was going on I was just down there and picked up .hack for 9.99 man if i had this list i would of cleaned house. :(
