It was actually in a bin with the trace memorys for 9.98...it was at the bottom and I have been looking for the game...

I checked out the Toys R Us in Times Square earlier today.

Plenty of Phoenix Wrights but they were actually marked up a little for $22.99.

a couple Polarium left for $4.98
a couple Metroid Pinballs left for $9.98
a couple Point Blanks left for $9.98
a couple Rub Rabbits left for $9.98
a lot of copies of Trace Memory left for $9.98

no Meteos

and i saw a couple Drill Dozers & Gunstar Super Heroes for GBA for $9.98 each
 
Yeah i passed one up and when i went to get it it was gone. Its a big YMMV. Also look for Choro Q for $4.95......another big YMMV.
 
Well, I figured out why Warioware: Touched is getting hard to find. . . . the TRU in Tupelo, MS has every copy. They literally had 14. I was shocked.

Damn your lucky. I would of bought Polarium, Point Blank, and Rub Rabbits.

All games I need, and they are damn cheap! It's a shame my TRU sucks.

Hell, I saw ChoroQ at my TRU, correctly tagged. Is it any good? It was about all they had left. I did find one more Samurai Champloo. I have no idea where that came from as I'd been to this store a few times after the sale started and they didn't have it then.
 
I picked up Tomb Raider Legend, Jade Empire Limited Edition for 10 bucks each and I also found Cool Borders 4, and Twisted Metal 3 for the PS One for a 1.50 each.

Tomb Raider for which system? I saw them all marked $19.98 last night. I was going to go back and get the 360 version today, actually. If it rings up $9.98 I will be pleasantly surpised, I suppose ;).

Choro Q is very, very bad. Not even worth $5 imo.

Let us know if you find TR:L for the 360 for $10. :)

Yeah, I don't expect it to be. But I have a $3 coupon from one of their customer survey deals. TR for 360 has a PG rebate, so that's another $5. So even if it costs $20, I'll end up getting it for $12. (Now if it is $10, I'll get it for $2!).

I just need to get a 360 now ;).

Edit - OK, the 360 Tomb Raider is $19.98, the PS2 Tomb Raider is $19.98, and the Xbox one is $9.98 (just like in the OP ;)).

However, this particular store has at least 30 copies of the PS2 version, so they might wanna think about dropping it a bit more. They probably wouldn't even sell them all at $10. It also has boatloads of Suikoden Tactics and Getaway Black Monday. They also just received a couple boxes full of GBA Frogger Temple of the Frog ($9.98) which the guy was removing from sealed boxes and tagging (with clearance tags) to put out on the shelves (to add to the 15 or so copies they already had). So there's some proof right there that they are getting more clearance items restocked. Too bad it was some of the more crappier ones (couldn't have been Steambot or Metal Saga, eh? ;)).

It was for the original X-Box.
 
Just stopped by the TRU in Times Square this evening. One addition to the clearance worth mentioning is Black for Xbox. I ended up buying it for $5.20. They had a whole bunch of other EA games in the clearance bin (mostly 06 sports titles ranging from $5 to $10).

I'll have to go look for this one... I had it when it came out (paid full price) but traded it back for a bit of a loss... for $5, it's well worth it.

I did hit up one TRU today and found a Meteos for $7.50. Whoo hoo!!! Been looking for that since Target clearanced it out.
 
How long have the GB Micros been $35? I somehow just found out about it and might bite at that price, but TRU is kind of a haul. Just wondering what my shots are at being able to find one.

Maybe I'll risk calling them and seeing if they have any instock when they open.

They've also got several copies (10-15) each of Snood 2:On Vacation and Trace Memory for the DS at $9.98. I've heard plenty of people mention Trace Memory - is it worth picking up?

I'd try out Trace Memory for $10. If nothing else you can sell it to someone and get your money back.

Black is definitely YMMV. It scanned at $19.99 for me.
 
Picked up this bad boy for $7.00!! It didnt have a clearance sticker. It was the usual broad white TRU label too.

There wasn't a message from an admin in this thread, so that's where I posted it.

I didn't know that a trade thread existed for this TRU deal, or I would have posted my want list there.

My objection was to the guy being a dick. No need for it - clearly.

When Spooge mentioned there was a thread, I went and posted there.

People take crap that amounts to nothing (basically) WAY too seriously here.

It's just a post, and ultimately, not very important where it goes.

And for the record - what you're referring to occurred well over a month ago. Let's not make it sound like a recurring issue.

SN - you're absolutely right about one thing. If an admin or CheapyD had said something, two things would have been for sure.

1. They wouldn't have been an assbag like elmyra. They would have been cool about it like Spooge. I'm not a 12 year old kid, and don't expect to get treated like one.

2. They would have directed me towards the thread, and that would have been that. I would have been happy to oblige. After all - most people don't come here looking to degrade others. Just help each other with information and game trades.

That's all I have to say on the subject.
