I only found Me & My Katamari but I also found a copy of World Rally Championship (PSP) for $16.48. There were also at least six copies of Perfect Dark Zero LE. This was at the TRU in White Plains, NY.
 
Me and a friend picked up FF4, Tales of Phantasia, and Pac Pix at the Lewisville,TX TRU. Everything else was either OOS or not marked down. The $6 FF was worth the trip :)

Was that perfect dark at the sale price posted here? I can get to the TRU in White plains and have wanted to get that game for a while.

We need a TRU employee!!

I purchased the last copy of AMPED in my area. ( My local store said they had 2 that they mysteriously can't find :roll: ) It cost me $40 bucks!!:hot: I'll wait for the price adjustment when all the stores get the clearance memo. I'm guessing because of the holiday some stores probably didn't get the clearance price update. When they do i'll be there, if not this puppy is goin BACK!!

Prices didn't drop here yet either. Give it a few days and the prices should kick in. This happened to me last time, should have known better than to try getting my price adjustment that quick. :roll:

Im a TRU employee, and I posted yesterday saying my store doesnt have those prices, meaning YMMV.

But today, there was alot of markdowns on a ton of toys. Something in the electronics was marked down from $130 to $30, but I cant remember what it was and a RC Navigator went from $100 to $30. Those were some of the higher priced stuff. Took the guy who does are markdowns like 6 hours to get everything on the list. If your looking for some toys, now would be a good time to check, but we didnt markdown any video games.

A) We have TRU employees here.
B) It says YMMV right in the title of the thread.
C) Why did you buy it for $40?
 
Scored a SFAA and a copy of FFlV for 9.99. I found GSH finally but still only 8.96, did anyone find the 5.00 ones?
 
I was in Omaha today and picked up Asphalt Urban GT for $4.48. It was the last one. I checked the other prices and they did not come down. AU GT is not a good game but it wasn't too much of a waste for under $5.00 with tax.

I went to my TRU and found FFIV for $7 and another game I forget. They did have Suikoden 5 but it was $28. I'll wait until it hits the lower price. Hopefully that'll be soon enough.
 
Went looking for Amped with no luck, but on the plus side, they did have several DDR Mario's in stock (3 or 4). Looks like they still go for over retail in eBay too.
 
I dont know if this is any helpful info or not, the manager at my local TRU was telling me that this Price drop is part of a new system they have started. No longer will there be Phantom Price drops as he called it. There is a daily print out sheet that will have the price drops that have taken effect that day and will be continuous. When I worked at FYE we used to use a similar tactic rather than a monthly or even seasonal price change like CC has. So your local store that doesnt have FFlV for example on sale today, might just have it on sale tommorrow.

Even still, the amount of a drop varies from store-to-store. It may drop $10 at one store and only $5 at another.

Speaking of which, I also saw that 360 s-video cables dropped to $7 at my local TRU.
 
Grabbed Pac-Pix for $6.48 and Perfect Dark Zero for $12.98. Might keep PDZ sealed just in case they decide to drop it further in the next 45 days and I need to return/rebuy. Not in a rush to play it anyway. Also, not sure if anyone else mentioned (or cares), but I scooped up a lone copy of Dragon Ball: Advanced Adventure from the cheapy bins. It was marked with a generic bar code and $9.99 sticker. Pretty fun little brawler that I've been waiting for at a decent price.
 
Got Suikoden V for 13.98, Me and My Katamari 8.48, and Gunstar Super Heroes 8.48. I bought Gunstar anyway, even though I wanted it for $5.

Not all stores are doing the clearance. Hence the YMMV. If the store didn't mark it down today, chances are that they won't. You should return it.
 
I was visiting my mother yesterday, and stopped it to a TRU on a whim later in the day. It's the one on Fowler in Tampa, FL.

I was able to get an Amped 3 for $8.48, and there were at least two copies left. Gun, however, rang up at $27.98, and they had two copies in the case. (According to the guy working in electronics, they aren't allowed to put Mature rated titles out on the floor anymore? Seemed weird to me, unless this is a high preteen crime area.) I wasn't really looking for much else, so I didn't price check anything further.

They had at least two Mario DDR boxes on display.

I also picked up a 3.5" portable Batman DVD player originally $120-$130, clearanced down to $18.98. Only one in stock that I could tell.

*sigh* every time there's a sale like this, all games picked clean, i don't even bother checking the TRUs anymore (gas prices are insane).
 
Waterford, CT store had most of the sale items, but I can confirm that Me and My Katamari is not $8 and change...the only one I wanted...

That's interesting, I picked up Me & My Katamari at 12:22pm today and I paid $8.48 for it. I also bought Monster Hunter Freedom (PSP), that rang up $29.99. Go figure.
 
Street fighter rang up $10.98 for me :) it happend to be the last one too, but the only other game they had that was "marked down" was Tales of Phantasia. I price checked a bunch of the games on the list and they didn't pop up.

Yup, just came from there. I picked up the last copy of Amped 3 for $8.48, and also picked up a copy of PDZ:LE, which rang up at $12.98. There were at least five more of those. I grabbed a copy of Street Fighter Alpha Anthology at $10.98 for another CAG, too, (and there were two other copies left marked at that price) but Me & My Katamari was ringing up at full price. They also had Madden 06 for 360 at $13.98, about 4 copies. Pac Pix was still at $8.98, and Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi was $6.48.

Milford, CT didn't have much. They have TONS of copies of PDZ:LE that are marked at $27.98 but ring up at $12.98, but pretty much everything else on the list was full price. Suikoden V was at $27.98, Eye Toy Kinetic was $17.98, Street Fighter Alpha Anthology was $17.98, and no copies of Me & My Katamari were in stock. They did randomly have Seinfeld Season 8 out, which isn't supposed to be released 'til next week, so I picked up a copy of that.
 
Some prices changed for me, some remained the same. I ended up picking up Gunstar Super Heroes for the $4 price, and Drill Dozer for $9 (after missing it at every other clearance opportunity, I figured.. what the hell, I'll see what everybody is talking about with it). Amped was $33, Perfect Dark Zero was $12, and Madden 06 360 was $12. Damn do I miss the green tag days..
 
Thanks for the heads up OP, Picked up the last copy of Street Fighter Alpha Anthology since it was 10.98. I also picked up Pac Man 3 for the PSP for $5.00 which I'd imagine wasen't part of yesterday's markdowns but from awhile ago.

I was also after Pac Pix and Me & My Katamari if I saw them at the prices in the OP but no luck finding them.
 
I know this is probably futile, but if anyone has or can get a cheap Amped 3, please CML or I can do Paypal. There is only one TRU that has it in my area and the bastards want $34 for it.
 
Are these prices usually marked at the clearance price or do you have to get them scanned? (asking the people who got the games at the clearance price)
 
A little of each for me. Some were stickered with the lower price, some had higher stickers but had a shelf tag showing the clearance price, and others were marked as higher on the shelf and on the sticker but rang up much lower.

Either/Or. Sometimes the bincards themselves reflect the price, I found that with Tales of phantasia and FFlV at one of my stores.

In the past year, mine has begun printing their tickets off with a new price. Some lady does it now who's absolutely nuts about retagging (she's helpful though). If it sits in a clearance bin though.. it rarely gets restickered.

However.. most TRU's that I've ever been to are slow to retag price changes. Sometimes, I'll snag a ticket in the electronics area and scan it on stuff that seems like it should be clearanced off (a good example would be my Zen 6gb Micro about a year back sub-$100).

There should be price scanner sections around (I've never seen a TRU without, but I'm willing to bet that there are a few around). With as YMMV as the clearances are now, I'd try to check the price somehow beforehand.. one game may have dropped, but another may have not.
