Wow.

I know it's probably "assisted" but it's still pretty amazing...

I've seen similar videos before, but that's probably the fastest one I've seen. That guy was damn good at what he does. Now I really want to play some Mario 64.

Haha, its pretty awesome/impressive. SM64 has so many of these weird bugs where they throw Mario around. It's a little more nuts considering the intro ends at 58 seconds in. Wow, the run through the third Bowser stage is most impressive!

Probably? I don't even know where the hell I am in moving from one glitch to the next. Is even 10% of that possible without emulators and 1000s of trials?

Wow, never seen someone bitch that about a wrong thread in the Off-topic forum before...

I guess some people have nothing better to do than bitch. I don't see how this topic is hurting anyone being in the OFF-TOPIC forum.
moving through the bowers boards is crazy
Seriously! The third one was amazing but #2 I had to rewatch. WTF!

If someone could do this on an N64 in even twice as long as that i'd be impressed.

ok im not joking, but i had a dream last night that someone created a thread about a video of someone beating mario 64 very fast...

as far as I know he says "So long King Bowser!"

Wow, that's disgusting. Also, if you don't count the 1 minute intro and the 2 minute outro, it's under 6 minutes of actual gameplay. Egads!

Sounds like you belong in the "I have real magic skillz" thread"

Although, CAG topic prediction is a pretty lousy superhero ability.

Yeah, what's even happening there? If you make Mario crouch in certain corners he runs backwards at supersonic speeds? Huh?
You know, I hadn't added to my ignore list in a while.
LMFAO

Cag is highly, highly amusing today.

As an insentive for saving Princess Peach he gets a pastry...

When I was a kid, I thought Mario said "So long gay Bowser."
I was immature and still am because I still heard that.

man that water world music is still amazing stuff. i wonder if you can buy it or download it somewhere. that game is one of the few timeless games out there too bad mario sunshine sucked so bad.even now i remember when i finally got a copy fo that game and popped it in and the mario 64 world was just unbelivable. that undeground dinosaur was bitchin too.

I cannot figure out why I find this so hilarious, but I am.
Is...is that good? I haven't ever played this "mario 64."
Wow,

Well I'll enlighten you.

It was a strategy game for the SNES, the 64th game in the series as a matter of fact (you can obviously tell by the name). It starts out with this plumber named Mario trying to figure out how to pay the rent for the month. His rich ass girlfriend Princess Toadstool (aka Peach which is Mario's "pet name" for her) mailing him a letter saying she baked a cake for him.

Now I don't know who uses the mail to say such things when phones are available, but whatever, by the time Mario gets the letter the cake will be days old.

Anyways, due to Peach's lack of understanding on how to use the telephone it takes Mario almost a week to get the letter and get over to the castle. By the time he gets there though he finds out some dude dressed up as a dinosaur kidnapped Peach while she was out shopping and if Mario wants the cake he has to go save her.

The rest of the story is told through the gameplay.

Especially odd coming from a normally mellow poster, ya alright thar?
I never liked Mario 64.
This coming from someone with a wrestling game in the gamercard. :(

That was incredible, assisted or not.

Mario 64 is my favorite game of all time and now I have the sudden urge to play through it yet again.

Same here, i think i'll break out mario 64ds later (n64 is not hooked up).
wtf

lame, but still amusing.
Really? I think it's time to add you to my ignore list, then. Lame is probably the single most innapropriate adjective I can imagine for that video.

Lame seems about right to me. It reminds me of that SMB3 quick run that was done all on emulator, as this one was. If someone had really run the last few levels like that I would be impressed, but considering they ran it basically frame by frame (because no one could run it like that), I am far less impressed. Quick run videos used to be fun to watch, because they showed real skill. Now, they're just people showing off that they have too much free time to screw with emulators, which is less fun, and, well, kind of lame.
