Someone just bought a Wii remote and Red Steel

red steel might be available, but the remote could be stolen (would be pretty dumb though if some guy came in and bought red steel, then ran off with the controller so they have his name and everything....)

People in this forum have picked up Red Steel so that might be legit, but for some reason I am thinking that Wiimote was ganked. Or maybe he is a GS employee and took the stuff home to show off?

That "Wiimote" is the TV controller--and that one was given to members of the gaming industry. These photos are from an insider--not a purchaser.

The TV remote had more writing on it to explain the button's TV functions (in Japanese, of course :) )

red steel is out today, i got a call from eb saying my copy is in. i'm just going to wait until until i get all my stuff on sunday. i can't have anything wii related in the house before i have the actual system, it will make me go nuts.

I was about to pick up RS, but didn't. I should have though. Meh. I am trying to narrow it down between RS, Excite Truck or Trauma Center.

The Best Buy in Champaign, IL has Wiimotes available for sale. They were just putting them out as I was visiting friends who were waiting for a PS3

edit: they also had nunchucks and some wireless connection usb things where you can put it in your usb port on the computer and use it as a wi-fi access point. They also had the console stands/organizers and some disc carrying cases.

Yeah, at my Best Buy (San Francisco) they only had the nunchuks and tray organizers. I wish they had the wiimote. Regardless, I bought the nunchuk and said hello to the 30 or so people camping outside for the PS3.

Interestingly, I thought it was spelled nunchuck but the package says nunchuk.
Also it's tempting to open but i will wait til Sunday.

It is so nice to know that Best Buy STILL does not follow those GREAT BIG RED/WHITE STICKERS that say DO NOT SELL UNTIL NOV 19th!!!!!!!!! I will check my local Best Buy tomorrow and I WILL report them....The street date keeps all retailers playing on the same field....Nobody can sell it before the other guy...

Your an overweight, 40some year old women who is recently divorced?

If not, then don't be a bitch. If they sell it to like ONE employee who cares. If they started putting Wii's on the shelf like 4 days ago, then I can understand.

At least locally, no one is hurting you :)
