Sonic Colors Wii: $39.95 @ amazon. (They're price matching wal-mart)
Though it was worth a new thread, as it's the first great Sonic Game since the mid-90s.

Is Sonic colors a side scroller? If so i'll be picking it up at gamestop b2g1

It's about 75% 2D, and 25% 3D. It's a really great game, with little to no crap in it and some great tunes. About the only thing one could complain about are the cut scenes which I foudn kind of fun since they were pretty self-awarely corny, but they're also super easy to skip.

No annoying hubworld (Mario 3-esque map), nothing but playing as Sonic, and a fairly smooth difficulty curve. It's actually one of the better games I've played in a long time, not just a better Sonic game.
