I got a used GCN version a week back for ~$14. I think it's a great game, but then, I've been a Sonic fan since the days of Genesis, so I'm bias. ^_^

You're talking about the Gamecube version, right? Why is it the best version? Probably won't get it now, I'd like to know for future reference

From what I heard the game was originally designed for the GC and ported over to the XBox and PS2. The XBox version is also very good but avoid the PS2 version at all costs.

Framerate/ graphics/ control are best on Gamecube.

Xbox supposedly has framerate issues, but PS2 is horrendous. GC for this game is the way to go.
