Thanks for porting it. I was too lazy to do so last night and to be honest had second thoughts about doing so here because I didn't want to hear the inevitable

This has numerous improvements over the original; most notably it gives you limited controll over your TV and other inputs as well. For me it provides the ability to change the TV channel as well as the volume.
