I figured I'd create a thread in the movie section for Sony's Reward system. Everytime you buy a Sony Blu-ray or DVD it comes with a code that allows you to register your disc at sonyrewards.com. You get 30 points per BD, 15 points per DVD, and if you're a Sony Cardholder you get 45 points, and 25 points respectively. Registration is completely free.

Now the best part about this is the codes are multi-use. So anyone who buys a Sony pictures studio movie can pass along their code in this thread. I've made it a Wiki thread so you can easily add your code to the list. Please post in the thread which code you've added as well, thanks.

Notes:

It is 10 disk registrations in a ROLLING 30 day period with a maximum of 3 disk registrations per day
Red = Titles that are either not released yet, or no code has been posted for it

So that's 945 points so far (1465 for cardholders). Feel free to post any for other movies listed there! Eventually we can earn enough to get some movies and other rewards from their site \\ :D/

Also I do realize there is a Sony Reward thread in the PS3 section, but it's a bit of a mess with movie codes posted here and there. I figured since this is a movie section it's best to have them all neatly organized in a centralized section.

(credit to the folks at Blu-ray.com for some of these codes)

Guys you can also use the points on Sony.com. you can apply the points at checkout and pay the difference with a credit card. Hope that helps. I remember when they had the 32gb vita gift card on sale for 59.99 and I had
42 in points. I applied the points towards the purchase and pay 17 or so for it :).

I don't know if anyone missed the "This the end" video+ with quiz, but I didn't until today. Another 250 points. Trying to track all of this in the rewards thread linked above.

Yes, but if you haven't noticed, Sony.com has been increasingly carrying less and less. They no longer sell movies or music at all, and they don't even sell that many games. But yeah, if you want to buy a first party title at MSRP, then it's a great option. It just used to be a lot better.

And therein lies the problem. I'm more than likely gonna just end up with Little Deviants for free. Still hard for me to pull the trigger on it, considering I used to be able to get a $20 PSN card for the same price...

^New Game for White House Down, just got an email. Also save your stubs if you see This is the End or White House Down for points

I should get to around 10,000 points around the time the PS4 comes out, that's my goal OR a discounted Vita...have a playstation card with 0% interest until October so I use it whenever I can and just pay it off right after.

I emailed Sony Rewards about them not offering PSN and SEN codes anymore, and this was their response:

Thank you for contacting Sony Rewards Online Support.

Thank you for your email and your interest in PlayStation Network Codes.

We have every intention to make the codes available for redemption in the near future. We apologize for the delay.
I hope they're not just blowing smoke.

Why would they do that? There has always been some time when the codes disappeared then were made available again. Be patient.

The PSN codes have been gone for around a month. The SEN cards a bit less. But if you look around the various Sony sites, there has been no evidence of a restock in a hell of a long time. They're carrying less and less product. It's not unreasonable to think they're phasing out the "good rewards".

I sent them an e-mail asking about the PSN codes and they replied back with this: "

Code:
We have every intention to make the codes available for redemption in the near future. We apologize for the delay."

Check to see if you received an email from Sony Rewards (subject "Everybody Wins! Play & Get Up to 10,000 Points") or you can log in to your account at www.sonyrewards.com then go to "Browse Rewards" and see if there's a Sony ad at the bottom for "Peel to Reveal Play Now"

Its a targeted promo so only if it shows up in your account -- you can win 1k-10k points to use on a 2500+ pt order (works on electronics/music/movies, not on gift cards)

You click on 3 out of 9 choices and they give you the highest prize. Just stay on the page for a min after you click on 3 items since the pop up for the prize takes a little while to show up (mine took 30 secs). The points that you win are automatically linked to your account -- you have until 7/15 to play the game and to redeem the points

I won 2500 pts :bouncy:

Offer details: Game must be played by 7/15/13 (11:59PM ET) and redemption must be between 6/18/13 – 7/15/13 (11:59 ET). To use the points revealed, you must (i) be logged into the Sony Rewards website (www.sonyrewards.com) as a Sony Rewards member, and (ii) be an active Sony Cardmember in good standing at the time that you attempt to redeem and (iii) redeem not less than 2,500 points (before any applicable tax/shipping) in one transaction at the Sony Rewards website. This offer only includes Sony electronics, music, and/or movie items contained within the Sony Rewards online catalog; It excludes all other items within the Sony Rewards online catalog, including, without limitation, all PlayStation® items, Sony Entertainment and PlayStation Network Codes, PlayStation®Plus subscriptions, movie tickets, gift cards, and Insider Specials. If the above is complied with, the points discount will be applied when you check out.

This is a limited one-time offer which is non-transferable, may not be forwarded, distributed or reproduced in any manner and cannot be combined with any other Sony Rewards offers. Only one points discount offer will be awarded per Sony Cardmember. This offer excludes Purchase Credit Requests and may only be used by the Sony Cardmember who has received this e-mail solicitation directly from Sony Rewards.

What does this mean when I try to register...?  I know I didn't go over my limit in a day or month.  June is a new month.  Have anyone having issues like this?

"Oops. You have reached the maximum number of discs registrations."

My experience is that it is not a calendar month and it seems semi-random when you can enter codes again. When I still had codes to enter, I would try regularly and then would be able to enter 10 codes in a month. Looking at my history it never was the same days or same number of days between days I could enter.

Yesterday I saw an "IMEI entry" under ways to earn. It's gone now, but I'm guessing you'll be able to register your phone's IMEI for points soon.

It's not a calendar month...and it's not really semi-random. It's registering 10 codes within a 30 day period. For example, say you registered 3 codes on 5/25, 3 on 5/27, 3 on 5/28, and 1 on 5/29. You wouldn't be able to register any more codes until 30 days has lapsed since your first set of 3 (ie. on 6/26). As for time between codes, I'm pretty sure that also correlates, since depending on when you registered codes in the previous month, you might have to wait an extra day or two for the 30 day requirement to pass.

I got 1000 off - once I read the fine print and saw no Playstation I lost interest. I was thisclose to ordering a Vita with that 1000 plus what I got, the PS+ bundle is discounted to 27,000....just checked and it's back up to 29,990. sigh...snooze you lose...

I have an update for those of us having an issue redeeming points for PS+ and $50 PSN cards.  Support tells me they're working on the fix, but it will be sometime in July before it goes live.  I'll call them back after the 4th for another status update.

In case anyone wants to have a physical soundtrack for "Last of us" , you can get it at rewards site. Also the points from promo can be used for it

What issue are you talking about? Is it that it tells you that you've redeemed this item too many times? I've had that problem for awhile so I just have to hope they eventually get the Sony Entertainment cards back in stock.

Yes, that's the one. I opened a ticket with them last week about it.

I've also been having the issue where I can't add any more PSN codes to my shopping cart, namely the $50 and $10 codes, as I tend to add up SR points pretty regularly from using my PlayStation CapitalOne credit card and redeem the earned points. I sent Sony Rewards this email yesterday, and for once I actually received a response that gives a slight glimmer of hope that this is an issue that will be fixed soon (but I wouldn't hold your breath...I've had this issue since last year now):

Hello, today I tried to purchase a "PlayStation®Network Code– $50 PLAYSTATIONNETWORK50", however when I try to add it to my cart for checkout I receive the error "Sorry, you already redeemed the maximum number of codes you are permitted to redeem." I have a PlayStation Capital One credit card, so I tend to earn enough points to redeem for PSN codes every few months, but now it seems that I cannot redeem my points. I also have this same issue with the "PlayStation®Network Code– $10 PLAYSTATIONNETWORK10" I'd appreciate it if my account could be reactivated for purchasing these items, especially considering that today I was going to pay for part of the $50 PSN code with my credit card. Thank you!

Thank you for contacting Sony Rewards Online Support.

Thank you for your email.

We have every intention to lift the order limitation on these codes in the near future. We apologize for the delay.

Kind regards,
The Sony Rewards Team

I got a very similar reply like that about a month ago.  I've got about 2200 points hung up with nothing to buy since they canceled my Beyond: Two Souls order.  I hope they fix this and I can at least spend those points, but once those are gone I'll be done with this program since I don't find it to be very worthwhile since they removed the PSN codes.

Yup, I've only got about $10 in rewards held up in there and it's only going up as I use my Playstation Card. Unfortunately I'll have to wait until November to cancel and be done with it. I have both next gen systems reserved for store pick up at Best Buy with the card and they periodically do a preauthorization charge.

Look for the IMEI registration to go live sometime too. This link www.sonyrewards.com/en/earn/imei_registration/ redirects to the sony rewards homepage. It would give an error if it wasn't a correct link. Good if you plan to get the Xperia Z coming soon to T-mobile (or cough cough use the store model IMEI cough cough)

I am looking at using some of my Sony rewards points towards a gift card for a gift (friend's son).  Is the Sony Store Gift Card usable as a Playstation card?  I don't see any other gift cards on the store or in Sony Rewards and believe this was said previously.  I would hate to purchase this card only to find it was only usable at the Sony Store.
