Sony to sell ps3 on Ebay ?

When i was at TRU today the manager informed me that they will be getting aditional ps3 units on launch. She told me the reason they are getting so few is because sony is releaseing a few thousand on ebay to thwart or "cock block" people from makeing three times the MSRV. wonder if there is any truth to this?
Well i guess time will tell.

That wouldnt work anyways. If they have people bid on them the price will still sell for over $600, and if they do BIN for $600 people will just buy it tehre and put it back up on eBay the next day and try to make a profit.
