So I just came from Wal-Mart and they have the Sopranos seasons 1-3 for 49.99. 4 and 5 are still normal price. This seems to be a good deal since the MSRP for these was 99.99.

I was hoping the Sopranos DVDs would be $6 at a local Target during that big price mistake a few months back (was it last summer?), but none of the Targets near me had any incorrect prices.

I had to have all the Sopranos so I could watch them before season 6. I'm almost ashamed to say how much I spent on them......295!!! for seasons 1-5, oh well I wanted them really bad.

i got these for super cheap at gamestop(they are all $40 before discounts: b2g1 free combines with the 10% card which combines with the 10% coupon. I paid about $24 per season, they are used but complete and in excellent condition)

edit: i forgot, after watching them i ebayed the first 4 seasons for about $40 shipped per season, check ebay and you dont have to pay $99 per season(or anywhere close to that)

I bought them for my christmas present last year. I had to have them all and I had waited long enough. I saw no price drops happening so I bought them at the last DDD 20% off sale.

I've been scrounging them from sales for years - started the series when my local Wherehouse went out of business. I was very happy to find the 5th season a month or so back at a local mom & pop used DVD place for about $35. The set looks brand new too. :)

EDIT: Speaking of sales, to the OP, if you have a Suncoast/Sam Goody nearby, you can always wait & see if they hit a lower % off & you might can find a deal there. 50% off would get you $50 each, which isn't too bad.

even at full price, the Sopranos sets are worth the $

:)

Ive bought all of mine upon release, probably spending upwards of $220 or so for all 5... really looking forward to the new season, probably would need to catch up on season 5 first

I just bought the Sopranos seasons 3,4 and 5 for 5 bucks each. Along with the last season of Six Feet Under, all at walmart.

Since I've already got seasons 3 and 4 of the sopranos, and don't even watch six feet under, how much do you guys think I can get for them at gamestop, fye, or eb?

the SFU was regularly 78.99 and the other two sopranos were 72.

Are those stores good for dvd trade ins?

my first thoughts when i read his post reminded me of last year when you could get any dvd season for $5 shipped from columbiahouse.com if you took advantage of a glitch in their system, but ch does not have HBO titles like sopranos, so i am guessing either a joke post or joke account

nevermind

my original post wasn't a joke post.

my aim is Three10toLeft

If you want to see how I got the seasons for that price just IM me.
