I just came across this site and I noticed alot of the games being mentioned, for example (a $2 Amplitude on overstock) are being sold for a lot more on ebay? Can I actually make a decent amount of money hustling games? If so, can you guys give me some tips to start off? I used to do this before I got in trouble with the law but fatwallet doesn't seem to be as big on gaming anymore. One time I bought 52 wavebird+gamecube carry cases for $0.52 and sold them for $30... that was sweet. Any feedback would be appreciated. :) caio

What is with all these negative replies? Is there something wrong with trying to pay the bills nowadays? Obviously I do it for the "love of the game". I'm just trying to recoup my financial losses and maybe make a buck or two. You all do the same exact same thing... :\

You rip people off for the love of the game, eh? Nothing wrong with trying to pay bills. But when you deliberately buy games with the sole intention of marking them up and selling them at a drastic profit, don't expect much love from us.

This community is here to help each other find cheap games. Not to make your stupid ass money. And don't even think about coming in here asking us to help you make money off your fellow gamers. What the hell are you thinking, man?

If you're here just to try to make money, then I suggest you take your ass somewhere else. Maybe to one of the CAG rip-off sites.

We don't take too kindly to your kind round these parts.
 
Most people here just buy and TRADE games because we are into video game collecting. WE help each other out by looking out for each other...This is the wrong site for you it sounds like to me. We play video games, talk about video games, buy and trade games. Sometimes we will sell games, but it's usually at a fair price unless it is a rare rare game that is very hard to find. Then we might ask current market value..or less..My suggestion is you find another site to "make a decent amount of money hustling games", because you won't find too many friends here. This is me being nice, since you are new and seem to have no clue. Next time won't be so pretty......"These aren't the droids you're looking for. Move along"

I think you misunderstood. His orginal post says he was selling on eBay until he got in trouble with the law. I want to know what he did. In other words, what was the contraband? Was it drugs or some stolen property?

We are trying to SAVE money and I wouldn't want to have to buy a copy of Rez or any other game from you on ebay after you got some good information from me on where to get games for cheap. We are here to save money and build our collections......You don't look like you are making any new friends. The "personal" attacks could get much worse if you act like an idiot about making money and "hustling" gamers.

If you have one, and still need money, then get a better job.

If you can't get a better job, take your sorry ass to college, graduate and then get a better job.

Well I just started college last month and I have a job... But I have real bills to pay. After the bills are paid, I don't have much money. And I'm bored. That's where games come in. But I can't buy many games cuz I don't have much money. That's where selling games comes in. I do what I love yaknow?

Dude, the whole point of this site is to share deals with each other so that we can save money while building our collections with games we want. This is not for personal gain, and you should realize by now that the general consensus does not tolerate people like you who abuse the purpose of CAG.
 
It is truly sad that there are people like this floating around the site. It is also sad because there is no way of policing these types of actions and preventing such people from using the site.

The people that lose the most are us gamers out there who are truly just looking to get good games at the lowest price possible (and what's wrong with that) without thinking about reselling for more money or using the information contained within this site for get-rich-quick schemes.

These people are the reasons why some of us always get fucked out of the really good deals that have come across this forum.
 
You can find Haven, RTX Redrock and Rogue OPs for PS2 pretty cheap at CC. I think they're hot sellers and will fetch great profits!
 
I mean, if it came down to it, of course I'd give back to the hand that feeds me, that would undoubtfully come first. But second priority is definately ebay.
 
You should just go somewhere else.......really .....You don't seem smart enough to make any money because your first post is about the dumbest thing I have ever seen anyone come on here and do....I think you will fail miserably at "hustling" games. Maybe you could become a trash pickup worker. That sounds like more of the carrear for you. You might almost be smart enough to do that, but they will provide the necessary training.....
