Soul Calibur 2 for ps2/GC/xbox

I didn't get it for $14.50, but I managed to pick up the GC version of the game from my local CC for $14.99 (19.99 - $5 off from Sunday's ad). With tax, you've got me by $1....I'll have to settle for second place. ;)
i wish i hadnt spent 50 when it came out
I got my 50 out of this, but did not get my 40 out of F-Zero. I need to pick that up again and give it another shot

I got my copy today at GS for $14.99 for the Xbox version. It was also the same price for the PS2 version, but I'm not sure about the GC version, I assume it's the same.

At $15.00 I might have to pick up the GC version. Legend of Zelda is one of my favorite game series, so I only really want the GC version.
How are the controls with the Gamecube controller?

Thats good to know. Not that Ill be pulling off too many advance moves, as Im pretty bad at fighting games. The only ones that I own right now are Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee (for both the Gamecube and Xbox no less) and Super Smash Brothers: Melee.
Edit: And War of the Monsters. I dont know how I forgot about it.

I'm glad I did. Well worth it. I spent well over 20-30 hours on it. And loved it. But, like 3 weeks after I bought it...it dropped to 30, adn its been dropping ever since.

It's definitely worth the $15, I picked it up last week and have been playing it like crazy. Lots of single player action.

And personally (After playing the original SC on Dreamcast) I didn't find the GC pad too bad. In fact, some moves are actually easier to pull off in comparison. That's because the button layout makes it easier to hit certain buttons at the same time (A,B, and K).

lol, my mini update: I printed the walmart ad for Soul Calibur 2 (ps2) and brought the fry's ad showing Champions of Norrath to sears and I got them for-- SC2: 14.82-0.52(PM) + CoN(it was listed 49.99@ sears): 19.99(Fry's price)-3.00(PM)= 31.29 + 2.50 tax, came out 33.79... with 2 brand new games, I'm cool with them...

BUT, bring it to sears (I try with my local BB and CC and they both don't have it in stock) and just pricematch it and u can have it for 14.82-10% + tax which'll come out to be around 14.50 with tax included...

you broke the 11th commandment: Thou shalt never bringeth up the name Sears in a discussion about videogames".
